An old stone mining building stands on a rugged cliff, with a tall chimney rising above it. A winding dirt path leads alongside the structure, overlooking the coastline where waves break on the rocky shore. The sky transitions from blue to soft hues as the sun sets in the distance.

Bright & cosy home by the beach with lovely views

ElanzaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A beautiful place with stunning a sea view. Felt like home away from home. Super clean place with stylish furniture and fresh linen and towels. Jennifer the host was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to answer any questions asap. We already have recommended this place to our friends and will be staying there again when we come back to Cornwall. If we could give it six stars we would.

Porthtowan beach house with sea views

LennekeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a really wonderful stay in Polvenna beachhouse. The house is clean, spacious and light, with a cosy, beachy interior. The beds and showers are great and the kitchen is very well equipped. We all loved the amazing view and the sound of the waves when lying in bed at night. It was really magical. Porthtowan has a great beach. We loved the rockpool and rented surfboards. The village store is a short walk down and sells fresh bread. Nearby St. Agnes is lovely and has some great restaurants. This is a good place to visit the rest of Cornwall from. Don’t hesitate to book!

Jack's House

KirstyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Staying at Jack's House was delightful! Close to the beach (~5 minute walk) but quiet at night. The house was clean and well thought-out such that all necessary amenities like crockery, fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc were available. Emma was very responsive and her husband even popped around to say hi and give us some nice recommendations for what to do in the local area. Parking was a bit of a squeeze but completely do-able. Would 100% recommend as a place to stay. The scones that had been laid out were a lovely surprise on arrival!

The property was lovely, exactly as described and in a great location. The location is perfect, easy to get to and really close to the beach and other bits to do. We'd love to stay there again. Simon and Debbie were great hosts and helped out with suggestions for local places to go, as well as making us feel welcome.
