Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mauritius

We spent a wonderful week at Jean-Michel's house, with our 1.5 year old child. The house is very pleasant to stay in, with a beautiful garden and direct access to the pretty beach of Pointe d'Esny. Ideal for snorkeling: corals, a multitude of pretty fish… but also a lot of sea urchins, so it's better to have water shoes! The house is perfectly equipped, and the icing on the cake: optional housekeeping and cooking service. A real plus, especially with the delicious Mauritian dishes prepared by Nadine - a big thank you to her! The location is also great, close to Blue Bay, perfect for baby to splash around in peace. We'll be happy to go back!

The host Mr Pascal very welcoming, very attentive, he is very responsive, helpful. The house is very spacious, comfortable and peaceful. It feels safe. In addition, what we appreciated was that he came to pick us up from the airport, he put us in touch with his brother who is renting a car and minibus, and he is also a very nice person, always smiling and helpful. We travel quite a bit, which is why, if I may say so without modesty, we are capable of appreciating extraordinary moments. It is good to travel and discover new places, especially when they are as beautiful as Mauritius. However, much more important is to meet a new person whom you can call a friend with a clear conscience. One such rare individual is Jean-Jacques, the best host we have ever stayed with, a wonderful man full of empathy and inner warmth. Thanks to him, we discovered a Mauritius that we would not have managed to know on our own and experienced unforgettable moments. The place where Jean-Jacques lives is unique. True nature lovers will appreciate it. A walk around the area is an absolute must. Once again, thank you very much for everything, dear friend. We miss you a lot.

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Kamaya. Alice and Alex were very friendly, and easy to communicate with. The location is beautiful, in the mountains. The rooms were spacious and well thought out.

Super nice host!!! The place was amazing. Big flatscreen smart TVs in each room with Wifi. Awesome couch to have an amazing Netflix evening. Bed super comfortable. Nice kitchen and bathroom. We felt like home! 100 % recommandable 😊

Small picturesque house, absolutely charming, rustic style with chickens, cats, dogs☺️. A breathtaking view of Le Morne and particularly comfortable bedding. Close to the main sites and beaches of the south of the island. We would highly recommend it.

We had a pleasant stay at Honey and Deepak's. The apartment is functional, well-equipped and very conveniently located, about ten minutes' walk to the beach and shops. Honey and Deepak are very welcoming, responsive and caring hosts (they make every effort to ensure that the stay goes smoothly). Many thanks to them! We'll be happy to go back!

Stayed here for a month and everything was beyond amazing! The community is very safe as security is on top of everyone that enters, the apartment felt very new and clean and was impressed on how often the maid told me she would come. She’s very sweet btw! Loved that most things you would need are definitely within walking distance, especially beautiful Pereybere beach and the cutest restaurant / cafe, Bloom, basically next door! Also, we got a great deal on the apartment which was amazing! Would most definitely stay again :)

Had a great week in this home. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The place is very quiet, perfect for relaxing, with a superb swimming pool, very well maintained. The sea view is simply amazing, a real joy every day. I recommend it without hesitating and will be happy to come back!

I've been staying in airbnbs for years, and this is the best experience I've ever had. The apartment was an excellent value and everything worked well. Ravish was so kind and truly made my trip. He took me on a tour of the island, set me up to swim with dolphins, and introduced me to his family and their restaurant (so good!). I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Super nice room ambiance and very friendly host!

We stayed in one of Villa Les Manguiers apartments for 1 month. We are a family of 3. We felt comfortable in the apartment. In a central location close to everything in Grand Baie. 2 minute walk from some nice restaurants and very close to the super market. It was a perfect base to explore this beautiful Island. It is a budget accommodation, clean and good value for money. Thanks to our host that we found very helpful with all of our enquiries about the country and his family for a pleasant stay. We will stay here again if we need accommodation in Grand Baie.

Amazing host. He met me at the airport to give all instructions and keys. He also made sure we got to the apartment finding us a taxi. The apartment was very open and big. I really liked the design. The only downside would probably be the internet that wasn't always working but I am sure Vikash will fix that for future rentals. Overall very satisfied with my stay and experience.

Thanks to Jay, I recommend the accommodation, small touches upon arrival (water, juice, milk, coffee) and comfortable bedding, towels (bath+pool) available. If we are lucky enough to return to Mauritius, we will return.

2 families stayed at Sergeys house in July 2 2019. We had a great time and recommend the house/host based on; - Great layout - different places to sit/relax/eat depending on weather/time of day. - Great pool area! - Great seaview! (Sitting on the terrasse with a beer watching the sunset was just great!) - Roof- covered sitting group outside. - Proximity to beaches/kite/surfspots - Great cleaning services. In addition we were very happy with Sergeys responsiveness to messages and questions, things that were unclear got sorted out immedately! We were also very happy with the additional services he coordinated, such as pickup/delivery at airport, the cook that came to us and made local food when we wanted (very affordable and great food!!). Highly recommended.

We loved Giovani’s place. We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful villa which was stunning with a private pool. All the amenities are the best. The Villa had everything you need to feel right at home. Mary Joyce welcomed us very warmly. We rented a car which made it very easy to go around, the restaurants and supermarket were 5mins by car. Giovani is an excellent host, very responsive to our messages. We had questions about Mauritius and he gave good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We loved staying here and I highly recommend this place. Thank you Giovani and Mary.

A perfect vacation home!! No mosquitos, great breeze, right on the beach and a private pool. We didn’t need to leave except to get food. The host Bernard took excellent care of us. One of my favorite tropical airbnbs !!

Organization of taxis for our arrival and departure airport . Availability of rental vehicles at the villa Passage of Kiran for the maintenance of the villa daily, very pleasant and discreet woman who prepared our dinners for us, for a very reasonable rate. Pool maintenance twice a week. Very accommodating owner, doing everything possible to make our stay enjoyable Recommended without hesitation

We were hosted very well by Robert and Charmene. Their house is conveniently located in front of the beach with the restaurants of Anse des Anglais within walking distance.
