Beautiful quiet villa with garden typical of the island in a pretty residence with caretaker, pool and tennis. The hosts provide everything for the stay, the amenities and the bathroom are excellent. Excellent value for money because villa + internet+pool+housekeeper 30/20 in Brenda who welcomed us with a smile and conviviality and who cooks good Indian and Mauritian dishes perfectly. We'll be happy to go back!

A great stay in a family and warm atmosphere. The outdoor communal hall with a magnificent sea view. Simple, healthy and reassuring meals. Hosts who are present and on the lookout. Thank you for this 3 night stay.

Great value for money! Very responsive and professional host, accommodation close to the airport, nice little pool and breakfast included very decent. Only small downside, the floor is the room to be cleaner, the rest was fine.

The accommodation in the Dodolalodge was very nice and corresponds to the description and the photos. Christian is a great and friendly host who is always available with advice and support. Also a car rental was possible without any problems. The lodge is quietly located in a side street, to the beautiful beach and some restaurants it is a 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Near the airport, nice room

For a first visit to Rodrigues… Madame Priya hosted us well, and was able to respond to our requests. La Fouche's accommodation is located in a crossroads where it is very well served by bus for travel to the 4 corners of the island. The cuisine served each evening based on local dishes was "tasty and delicious". Present, friendly, smiling, kind, she gave us plenty of addresses that made our stay very pleasant. We will also not forget all the special touches she had for us. Thanks Priya and hope to talk to you soon.

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

We stayed for 5 days with family fantasies, and we will keep with us the memory of this superbly pleasant couples, attentive to others. They built their guesthouse, a second home. Friendly report, very good advisors to get to know the island. Dinners are excellent(Rodriguez meal).

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. Villa Osumare was just perfect for me! Abi is warm, gives plenty of tips and takes care of the well-being of the guests together with the many enchanting employees. The room was clean, smelled fantastic, had mosquito net, fridge, air conditioning, fan, umbrella. There is a paid washing machine in the house. Breakfast is plentiful and stops until dinner in one of the many Mauritian restaurants. The pool is wonderful, especially at night for bat and starry skies. The wifi was reliable and also stable on the great roof terrace. It leads a path right to a beach. It was too rocky for my taste and had too many anchoring boats. I always went a bit further for bathing.

nice place. we had some issues with the electricity in our room, but they fixed everything very quickly to a degree that was enough for us. very nice and helpful staff, I can also recommend the ayurvedic massage by Preety!

At the top, after a second stay Under the Badamier, we can only recommend this hotel! A attentive, welcoming team, full of good places to visit! The room is clean and cleaned every day! The hearty and varied breakfast!

Friendly and comfortable. Run by sisters who were lovely. We had the top floor flat (room 7) with living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. Lovely balcony with glimpses of the sea. African coastal vibe. Good breakfast and secure car parking. The fish barbeque restaurant directly opposite was superb. Palmer beach which is 5 minutes drive away is worth it.
