in the district Hüsingen in the middle of the village, next to the old village well, stands our stylishly converted farmhouse dating from 1788, situated next to a horse paddock, not far from the forest. The attic is an oasis of peace. A large wild garden with apple trees belongs to the property and can be used for a romantic campfire, depending on the season. S-Bahn connection can be reached in 5 min by car. A baby cot can be added, children must be very careful with the steps.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Set in Herrischried, the vacation home "Ferien Alm Alfret" occupies an idyllic alpine pasture and offers a splendid view of the mountains and the Black Forest. The 2-storey property is a typical example of the regional architecture and consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can accommodate 6 people. The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
