Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Das Airbnb befindet sich super idyllisch in den Bergen - dadurch war dir Anreise recht schwierig (sehr schlechte, enge Straßen). Dafür wird man mit wunderbarer Ruhe belohnt! Das Haus und vor allem die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Sahnehäubchen ist aber der private Koch, der uns kulinarisch verwöhnt hat. Die Kommunikation mit Jay und vorallem auch Anu war super. Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist man hier genau richtig!!

We absolutely loved Skyridge cabin, a beautiful little hideaway, nestled in the mountains of Nuwara Eliya. Dana is extremely friendly with impressive interests and hobbies. Be sure to ask him how his Everest training is coming along. The hideaway isn’t within easy walking distance of restaurants, so Prava who lives just a stones throw away will cook you anything you like, and she is a truly great cook. If you need anything, Dana can usually get this delivered to you. The cabin itself is very unique, a real one-off experience. The climb to the cabin would not suit somebody with mobility difficulties and can be a little slippy when wet so make sure you have shoes with good traction when you arrive and leave. The surrounding villagers are very friendly and both Dana and Prava went out of their way to make us comfortable. If you’re visiting nearby tea plantations, make sure you talk to Dana first and he can let you know the best places to buy tea. Would 100% recommend Skyridge Cabin.

Our stay at the Treehouse in Ella was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The place is made entirely of wood and gives you that authentic treehouse feel - it’s cozy, rustic, and perfect if you’re looking for something unique. It’s about a 7-minute ride to the main happening spots in Ella, and the hosts can easily arrange tuk-tuks for you. The views from the treehouse are absolutely magical, especially when the mist rolls in and covers the mountain tops. You can even spot the train passing by in the distance, which adds to the charm. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The bathroom didn’t have a jet spray and the door couldn’t be locked, which was a bit inconvenient. There were also no curtains on the front glass door, which compromised a bit on privacy. Still, the charm and uniqueness of this place made it worth it - it felt like a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Definitely a stay to remember!

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

My entire stay at Edgar Mansion was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of elegance and warmth, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef Reggie and his talented team. Not only did they prepare extraordinary meals that delighted the senses, but they also went above and beyond to attend to all our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.

Fijne oase net buiten de stad met prachtige tuin en heerlijk zwembad. Ruime kamer met goed bed en ruime zitjes/ balkon. Voor ons geen probleem dat het iets buiten de stad lag, we konden het belopen en anders Tuktuk snel geregeld. Hield van de kokosrolletjes bij het ontbijt en alles was lekker! De ouders waren heel vriendelijk, leuke gesprekken en goede tips gekregen. Zou zeker terug komen.

The Villa was absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway — Mohamed and Tuan were the perfect hosts: super responsive and polite, always helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The space is spotless, the rooms were large and kept perfectly, and the view was unmatched. As long as you have transport to get you into Kandy, it’s also located conveniently so you can reach the city easily but still get the peace and quiet of the hills. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay with more attentive hosts!

Very nicely decorated villa and beautiful surroundings. The care takers, especially David, were very friendly and helpful. The villa is located in a sort of a gated community, a bit away from the Digana town. If you wish to go out for your meals the only option is the club house. Otherwise, the care takers will cook for you if you give the veggies.
