Perfect stay. The villa is beautiful, very clean and nice. Located 15 minutes by car from Rethymnon. Perfect for exploring the western part of Crete. Beautiful view. Very easy house to stay in. Excellent pool and Jacuzzi (2 seats). Cleaning done halfway through the stay. One of our best stays.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, clean and has a fantastic location right on the beach. The surrounding area is perfect for sightseeing (close to Chania, Aptera) and hiking. The hosts were very easy to reach and very friendly - there were even some Greek delicacies to welcome us. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this place! Thank you very much!

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a small town with no facilities (apart from a very informal cafe next door), but the quiet area was exactly what we were looking for. Yes there are some dogs etc, but not excessive, the noise is just local life in the town, which was actually really lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative, we had a few minor issues, but they were sorted in a matter of minutes! Loads of tavernas, beaches, supermarkets within a very short drive, spoilt for choice for loads of amazing food. Highly recommend a stay here, the villa, area, food and people were all fantastic.

Beautiful villa in a wonderful setting, the outside space is really spectacular. Everything you could need is available at the villa. We were staying with a 10m old and there were loads of baby items which made our trip so much easier. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating and helped us with recommendations when we asked. Would highly recommend this villa. It’s also within easy driving distance to lovely places on the island.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Fabulous house and location. Clean and stylish with very comfortable beds. Very handy for the beach and town and very close to the supermarket. An exceptionally beautiful part of Crete.

We loved every day here! Very high-quality amenities, tasteful and cozy furnishings, kitchen is well equipped (everything you need for cooking and enough to fill a dishwasher), very clean and fresh towels and bed linen, fantastic view (all 5 terraces!) with wonderful tranquility, and an extraordinarily warm welcome package (wine, milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, honey...). Very special!

The vila is like in the pictures, with a lot of space and a good position with view to the sea. ✨

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Communication with Nikos worked very well. Downtown is a short walk away, as is the airport with local bus lines.

Our family stay was even more enjoyable than expected. We quickly felt right at home. The house (Polymnia) is exactly as described and illustrated by the photos. The view and environment are amazing, while the pool delighted the children. The house is perfectly maintained and clean. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning in the rooms is very efficient. The overall equipment is complete. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking, with basic condiments as well. Chrysi is an extremely available host, pleasant to contact. Very responsive, she always responded to our requests, no matter how small. She loves her region and does not hesitate to share her knowledge through valuable advice. We would recommend this simply magical place without thinking twice.

This is a great place to stay in if you are looking for a lovely villa and pool in a very quiet and private location. The main sound is the goat bells ringing across the hills, yes really! Although it’s in the countryside there is easy access to the coast and the nearest village Vamos. Recommend trying the restaurants in Vamos. The hosts Judy and Mike are fantastic and are there to help if needed but otherwise give you space to enjoy this lovely place. Thanks very much Judy and Mike!!

Amazing villa in an amazing location. Great for the family. Manos and his team could not have been more accommodating or helpful! We had a really great stay.

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

We will plan the upcoming Crete vacation according to the availability of this house. Here, taste is fused with coziness and wonderful country house design. You enter the house via a courtyard planted with a lemon tree and a pomegranate tree. A summer kitchen and a covered terrace complete the outdoor area on the first floor. Two entrances lead to the spacious living-dining area. Below the stairs is the guest toilet. Another terrace with wonderful distant views of snow-capped mountains, two bedrooms and a bathroom complete this house.

Very nice house and furnished in a functional way. Panoramic location with beautiful views. It is necessary to have a car available for travel. The covered terrace where you can eat is very comfortable. Excellent welcome from Stavros, he also made us find upon our arrival some very good Cretan specialties that we ate the first night at dinner. I recommend the house to those looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

A beautiful, functional, new and clean house in a colourful and a peaceful village. The village located on a mountain and the weather there is amazing. In a 15 minutes drive you will reach beautiful beach - so you win tow different geography in one stay. The communication with the owner was excellent - fast responded for every question and need we had and helped use get along. Warmly Recommend!

The house is in a great location in a quiet village. It is an ideal place to get quiet from the city's noise. A stone house from an earlier era that has, of course, been renovated but at the same time has kept the character of an old village house. Mr. Frantzeskakis was very helpful and friendly. Our stay at Despina and Panagioti's home was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The house itself is clean, beautifully designed with a modern twist, and perfectly situated in the heart of a friendly and inviting village. Very nice house, tastefully furnished and decorated, with all the amenities, large kitchen, barbecue, etc. Outside we enjoyed the large, very shaded terrace. The courtyard offers great privacy. The nearby village is very pleasant on foot, and offers many restaurants and cafes. Everything was perfect, I recommend it. A big thank you to the owners for their responsiveness and attention.

The house has a fantastic view and is spacious anf super comfortable for a family . It really was 'a home away from home', no cliche. Evi s such a nice, warm person. She was always available, recommended places, and was helpful in every way and full of cocern. Highly highly recommended
