We are a group of 3 families with kids. The place was better than we expected and we had loads of fun. It's a well developed property with nice views of the mountains. It is right in between Nainital and Mukteshwar. The staff was courteous and prompt. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owner Mr. Ashok and he was gracious and helpful. Must visit place !

Peaceful Cottage near Ranikhet

RaginiRating, 5 stars30 months ago
We had an amazing time at Bobby's place in Majkhali. The house is lovely, with every comfort inside, and walks and views all around. The taxi was able to take us right to the front door, which we later realised is a rare luxury. The best part of the house is the large seating/sleeping arrangement with windows on three sides which is superb in the afternoon sun and gives gorgeous wide views the whole day. The house also has an open terrace as well as a nice big garden - we wished we had our dogs with us! There's pine forest all around, it's a short walk down to the village nearby. It's a slightly longer walk to the larger Majkhali market, which is where daily need groceries are available, so it is advisable to carry some of your own groceries/needs with you [from one of the larger towns on the way up, like Bhawali or Ranikhet]. The area does suffer from water problems, and we were asked to be careful and respectful of water usage. The only day we had an issue, with Bobby's help we were able to use the water from the rainwater harvesting tank. Bobby was extremely helpful throughout in fact- from the time of our booking onwards, and it immediately felt like we've made a new friend. He also put us in touch with plenty of local support, from taxi drivers to shopkeepers, which made our whole experience very smooth. We'll definitely be going back as soon as possible!

La Maison 757 Super deluxe room 8

AmeetRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kasardevi had been on my travel list since many years and as I was meeting mountains after 2.5 years, I wanted to make it extra special. So instead of going on with resorts we chose Airbnb. Sayana is a great host, she had been proactive in helping us decide this place even before the booking was made.the booking process was easy and the journey started. After an extremely long journey reaching La Maison was like a great relief. The welcome was so warm. Sapna was present to help us and guide. We entered the room which gave us a serene home coming feeling. The decor was so choice full and the minimalist yet most needed furniture made us breathe with ease. Food was so delicious and Satish the helper was on his toes to make our stay comfortable. All I waited for morning sunrise and it stole my heart. The most gorgeous sunrise was the Jewell on the crown. Overall the best place for holidays, staycation or a retreat if you are in Kasardevi.

Blue Cottage, near Jim Corbett (2 hrs drive)

AkashdeepRating, 5 stars15 months ago
This place is a true gem. The whole rustic and wooden vibe of the house is truely amazing. The house is big and airy, lots of space to sit, lots of space to move and lots of sunshine. The cook and caretaker both are well versed persons. This place is a beauty to the naked eye. The host has kept everything in mind for youre comfort. Just make sure that you take accompanies from ramnagar so that you dont have to find a shop in the nearby market. Homemade is delicious, and there are not much option to eat out, so stay put and enjoy the whole vibe.
A stone wall with decorative pillars flanks a wooden gate leading to the property. In the background, a tall pine tree stands alongside a view of snowcapped mountains under a clear blue sky, emphasizing the serene natural surroundings.

Panorama by Meraki

GoutamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Meraki Panorama Homestay in Ranikhet during Holi (March 14-16, 2025) was nothing short of extraordinary. This exquisitely maintained retreat, with its old-world charm and impeccable aesthetic sensibilities, surpassed all expectations—even outshining its photographs. The panoramic mountain vistas, glimpses of Nanda Devi on a clear day, were truly mesmerizing, offering an unparalleled sense of tranquility. The property, thoughtfully designed for comfort, featured spacious en-suite bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and inviting common areas that exuded warmth. The outdoor seating space, with its breathtaking 180-degree view, was the perfect spot to unwind. A special mention to the ever-efficient caretaker, Suraj, whose silent diligence ensured a seamless experience. His culinary skills and attentiveness further elevated our stay. The host, Arvind, was equally commendable, responsive and gracious in his hospitality. Highly recommended, a place we would love to revisit.
