House vacation rentals in Mascarenhas

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. The most fantastic stay, we will definitely be back! The location and accommodation was even better than the photos and the host and staff were so friendly and approachable. The views from the entire place were fantastic. A very private and peaceful stay, and the breakfast baskets were very generous, full of fresh fruit, bread etc. We did a wine tasting on the vineyard and it was so reasonably priced and great wine. There was also a lovely peacock and cat that roamed the vineyard and came to say hello on occasion. Both pools were fantastic! Thank you for a really memorable holiday 🥰.

We really liked it. The photos match reality. Alexandra responded promptly to all requests. A beautiful, quiet countryside area, close to a river beach. Oliveira's house is impeccable, it reflects good taste, cleanliness, the bed is well made. We'll be back for sure.

A wonderful place to relax in the Douro Valley! The views are stunning, and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The apartment is clean and cozy. The host was welcoming and attentive. He left a lovely welcome package with food and drinks, which was a very nice touch. The kitchen is well equipped, and there’s a convenient outdoor grill where we enjoyed making dinner with a view of the valley. The pool is large and fits perfectly into the relaxing atmosphere. Photos don’t fully capture the beauty and charm of this place — it’s even better in person. We’d love to come back!

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

From the moment we arrived , Alexandra welcomed our family and made us at home. The establishment is incredibly designed, unbelievable views and smells of fresh flowers. Beautiful house in a sleepy village, perfect for chilling and as a base for exploring the region.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We went to spend a few days, a group of 6 adults and 6 children/babies. The host made check-in and check-out very easy, and was available for any questions. The house is very large, with ample space for children. We had bad weather, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor area much, but we were able to have a barbecue since it's covered, plus the house was very warm and cozy. Very good overall cleanliness and comfortable beds. The kitchenware is a little dated, but it's enough. Both the host and the people of Soeima are super nice and helpful. Repeat experience!

The stay went incredibly well. We had high expectations, but it managed to exceed them. The house is very well located and the decor is wonderful! For me, João and Debora are impressive as hosts, they left nothing to chance and were always available to help. For sure, repeating it!

The truth is that as soon as you get to the house, you are impressed by how well everything is designed. You're in a country house where there's no shortage of detail and I loved the mix of the old house and the modern furniture... The room is beautiful, large and above all it is wonderful to take a bath at the foot of the bed! Everything was very clean and tidy. I loved the location, in the middle of the village.

Incredible house and host! Loved the area!

Luís had me feel welcome from the start! I had trouble navigating myself, but Luís assisted me and I got there in the end :) the house is so cute, perfect situated and has everything you need. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for tranquility! Luís Shop, filled with local goods and especially his world class chestnut honey is definitely worth a stop while you’re there.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

From the absolutely extraordinary house, to the landscape that looks like it came from a movie, to Mr. Manuel who left us speechless because he is so friendly and dear. There is no better place to rest, and we left thinking about when we'll return. The photos don't do the place justice, at all… Very spacious house, we stayed in a T1 and there was plenty of space left, well decorated, very modern, with an incredible outdoor space, it's just magical to go to the balcony and just hear the birds. Thank you Lucia and thank you to Mr. Manuel, who made this stay fantastic and want to return!
