Das Haus liegt einfach wunderschön mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und die Küste bis nach Taormina und auf die Stiefelspitze des Festlands. Die Sonnenaufgänge sind märchenhaft. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und auch über Hängematte und Tischtennisplatte haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Der Lavastein und das Holz sind außen und innen eine tolle Kombination. Es gibt sehr bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten und Betten sowie Insektenschutz an Türen und Fenstern. Der Ätna-Park, Taormina und Catania sind sehr gut erreichbar. Andrea ist ein toller, sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns viele gute Tipps gegeben hat.

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 persone solo per una notte , Rosario e’ un uomo gentile e disponibile. La struttura e’ spaziosa , accogliente e si trova in una zona tranquilla da cui e’ possibile raggiungere, in breve tempo , il rifugio sapienza per chi volesse fare un’escursione sul Vulcano. Consigliata.

Mike, Cinzia and David were easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was wonderful. There are a lot of stairs but we did fine. Location was fantastic for seeing Taormina and being close to everything but still quiet. Beach is an easy 25 min walk. We really enjoyed the stay.

Giovanni’s place is very nice and well-appointed. Giovanni and his wife Jenny were very prompt in helping us with some issues we had at home. I strongly recommend this place but preferably during the spring/summer season.

Apartamento excelente, con un encanto especial. Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto en los 4 días que hemos estado. Es una maravilla levantarte por la mañana y tener esas vistas del mar y del Etna. Es tal y como aparece en las fotografias Está en una urbanizacion privada, con puerta con guarda, por lo que nos ha parecido muy seguro. Tienes supermercados y restaurantes en 10-15min en coche en Brucoli o Augusta. Es un buen sitio desde donde ir a ver Siracusa, Catania, Noto, etc El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para hacer una estancia agradable. La atencion de Andrea ha sido muy cordial desde el principio y nos recibió de maravilla Curioso que hay un bunker de la 2ª guerra mundial en el camino que lleva hacia las rocas, donde, con cuidado, porque hay erizos, te puedes dar un buen baño. Hay tambien una playa de piedras a 3-4 minutos andando La pena ha sido no poder quedarnos mas días!! muy recomendable

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold. Jacqueline svarede altid rigtig hurtigt og lejligheden var renlig og ryddelig. Flot udsigt til Etna og let at komme rundt til omkringliggende byer i bil.

Notre meilleure expérience sur airbnb ! L'emplacement est fabuleux avec la vue sur la baie et l'Etna comme toile de fond. Les hôtes nous avaient préparé des bouteilles d'eau, du lait, des confitures et une bouteille de vin pour notre arrivée. Ils nous ont fourni plein d'informations sur les environs et les bons restaurants. Erico s'informait régulièrement de nous et nous a même permis d'utiliser son stationnement dans le centre de Catane pour notre journée de visite. Sabrina et Erico sont des personnes chaleureuses et accueillantes qui font des hôtes formidables. Nous recommandons très chaudement !

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

An incredible house and location. We especially loved the view, pool, and access to the sea below the house. It was an incredible stay for our family. Great responsive and welcoming hosts, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay, any questions we asked of the host were answered very quickly to messages. Nice welcoming touches of homemade cake made by the host which was delicious, and we were left some other goodies which was a lovely touch! Villa comes with its own collection of cute cats and three young kittens. They were very lovely and friendly but kept trying to get into the villa, however there are insect doors to keep them out. The location was very good and the villa and garden were beautiful and well looked after. We’d highly recommend staying in this villa.

This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Stay here if you are in Taormina! Louisa could not have been more helpful and kind to us during our week there. Her place is beautiful and peaceful and only a very short walk to the center of town. It was spotlessly clean and spacious with a gorgeous garden and old Roman tomb that our kids were fascinated by. We will definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Taormina!

This house was one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. We went for a week and a half on a family trip, and it could not have been more incredible. Somehow, the grounds are even more lush and beautiful and spacious than the photos make them look. Incredible views of Mt. Etna and innumerable spots for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Our manager of the property was more like a concierge. Gianluca was more welcoming and helpful than anyone I've encountered in years renting Airbnb places. We will surely be back and can't recommend it highly enough for anyone checking it out!

I stayed at Sandra’s home with two of my close friends for 5 days and we just loved our time there. Sandra helped us book a private chef and we dined outdoors overlooking a breathtaking view of the countryside and sea. The home is situated perfectly to explore (with a rental car) Taormina, Siracusa/Ortigia, Mt. Etna, wineries, and other lovely towns. The pool and gardens were unreal — especially because the whole region is peaceful, birds chirping and a quiet breeze. I would be so lucky to stay in Sandra’s home again!

Il soggiorno presso la villa di Isabella è stato fantastico. La casa è bellissima, come si vede dalle foto, in una zona molto tranquilla e che permette un relax totale e privacy per i gruppi che vi vanno. Tante informazioni fornite sui dintorni e sulle attività della zona; per esempio noi abbiamo usufruito del servizio della “pizza in casa”, con i pizzaioli davide e Monica che sono venuti a cucinare le pizze per noi (c’è un fantastico forno a legna in casa) ed è stata davvero una bella serata. Consigliatissimo!

Lella, the lady who helped us with check in and anything we needed during our stay was absolutely fantastic. She was so helpful throughout, gave us such a lovely welcome and loads of recommendations of places to see and eat. The Airbnb itself was amazing, it was really clean and much bigger than expected. It’s a little bit of a walk into the town but still very much doable. The whole place was fantastic and made our trip perfect!!

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

The villa was above and beyond what we imagined! The pictures do not do it justice! The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us into their own, helping us with every need and question. The included breakfasts were fantastic and we had the villa owner cook for us one night served by the pool and it was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The pool was such a special treat each evening after our day visiting Mt Etna (super close to access) or around town. We would highly recommend this place as it’s spacious (we had 8 and there was extra room) and the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with every need! The only downside we had was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will return to Sicily just to stay at this villa again! Va bene! Grazie mille!

We feel very lucky to have stayed here - your garden is beautiful - the children loved picking oranges and lemons and making delicious juice. We enjoyed evenings on the terrance and taking in the spectacular view - we even saw etna erupting which was very special. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You have been a wonderful host, thank you for all the help, recommendations and reservations. We loved the take away pizza and restaurant you recommended. Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden hier einen 10-tägigen Urlaub verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Schönheit von Anwesen und Umgebung: Im wunderschönen Zitronenhain gelegen mit Blick auf die Hänge des Ätna und auf‘s Meer. Besser geht‘s nicht! Langeweile kam nie auf, die Gegend bietet super viel! Ein Auto ist allerdings wichtig. Auch auf dem Grundstück gab‘s immer was zu tun: wunderschöner Pool, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Fußball oder in der tollen Küche kochen… und immer frische Zitronen. Maria Gulia und Angelo sind super freundlich und halfen uns oft mit Tipps und schnellen Antworten weiter. Die Villa ist eine absolute Empfehlung!!

Vi var en familie på 8 som hadde en uke på Villa Respiro. Denne uken glemmer vi sent. Alt var perfekt, bedre enn bildene! Kan varmt anbefale alle å besøke denne plassen. Nært Taormina der vi brukte flere dager og kvelder. Vi nøt også mange dager og kvelder i Villaen, det var helt magisk. Kan anbefale å stå opp tidlig minst en dag å få sett soloppgang, det var en opplevelse😍 Alle var enig om at vi gjerne kommer tilbake hit! Takk for oss Sicilia og Villa Respiro❤️

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.
