Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Le Camarguais

Come and get some fresh air in the wild Camargue in an isolated farmhouse. Nature predominates here and you will be staying in a pleasant apartment of about 90 square meters composed of a large living room and two bedrooms, completely renovated. It is 7 minutes from Arles, 20 minutes from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer with its beaches, 25 minutes from Nimes, 45 minutes from Montpellier. Enjoy the quietness of the countryside, in the heart of the Camargue Regional Natural Park. You're a stone's throw from the Camargue Museum.

MaisonO Menerbes, Village House in Provence

15th Century Village house perched on top of a hill with beautiful views. A south facing terrace looking to the Petit Luberon mountains. We are an architect couple who have completely renovated this typical Arlesian townhouse. It combines the southern spirit and contemporary design that we love. The roof terrace has a pool where you can swim while watching the Arles arena. On the ground floor, our office on the street can be used as an exhibition space or work area. The house has many old and unsafe stairs and is not suitable for young children. Welcome!
