Welcoming Lake District rooms with lovely views
We are in the tranquil Western Lake District National Park close to the Coast to Coast bike route and with plenty of walking right from the door. Your comfortable ensuite bedroom and own breakfast / sitting room is upstairs so has gorgeous views across to woods and fells. The bedroom can be set up as two singles or one kingsize bed. We can provide a delicious basket of local and home-made food for a help-yourself- breakfast for £5 per person. There is parking and a garage for storing bikes.

Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

The mews is one of 3 holiday houses in a terrace, located up a private driveway. Newly renovated for 2022. The accommodation is ideal for families, as well as walkers, bikers and cyclists. With easy transport links to the Lakes, the coast and beyond. The mews is wheelchair accessible with ramps and widened doorways.

The Mews: perfect for up to 7 adults & 3 children
The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm, it is now one of a small complex of buildings , surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lakes. This is the most peaceful and picturesque area of the Lake District. The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .

A lovely cottage on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to four. Original features with oak beams, deep bath, comfy beds, wood burning stove. Two bedrooms, king size and twin/super king, the twin beds can be 'zip and linked' together to form super king. Quiet village location with pub. Beautiful lakes and mountains nearby for walks and adventures. Cockermouth market town is 4 miles away, with supermarkets, good independent shops, restaurants and cafes.
