Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. Perched atop a towering cliff, the medieval village of Marvão offers visitors a breathtaking landscape. Entering the village through the Ródão Gates and looking to the right, the visitor comes across Casa da Silveirinha. Framed, on one side, by the cliffs that lead to the Castle and, on the other, by the immensity of the surrounding landscape, the House provides those who rest in it with the feeling of going back in time and becoming the guardian of the entrance to the village.

Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.

This small, finely furnished guest house was lovingly rebuilt from the old bakery into a completely independent small house. It has a full kitchen (with small dishwasher), bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed (2 people), bedroom and terrace, which is accessible from both rooms.
