Nancy and Peter were warm and welcoming. We enjoyed hanging out with them and their animals as well as playing croquet. Lovely location. Would definitely return!

Quaint and peaceful place perfect for a long weekend gateway! Alicia is a very responsive host that quickly addressed a couple of minor issues at check-in. We ate a couple of times at the golf club’s restaurant nearby (~10min away, good food) and ordered in from a local pizzeria for our last night at the lodge (Alessandro’s). Highly recommend this place.

Shirleyann is a friendly and welcoming host with a quiet and peaceful property 10 minutes from downtown Floyd. The BnB is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, including yummy breakfast foods in the fridge. We look forward to staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Taylor and Dylan's place. The place itself was extremely large and great for hosting a large group. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with lots of utensils and cookware. The bedrooms were large and there were plenty of restrooms. The hot tub was wonderful. And the place itself is a short walk from downtown Durham. We would definitely recommend Taylor and Dylan's place for larger groups.

Amanda’s place was in a perfect location for our fishing trip! We’ll be back next year. She is a wonderful, friendly, responsive host.

Beautiful location, place as described. Jacuzzi was great. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure, good shower. Bed was comfortable. Donnie was helpful and responsive.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Really peaceful spot surrounded by nature—great place to relax. Loved the hot tub and the nature art walk. Linda and Steven were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great stay at Hope's place with our extended family. House is very spacious and has lovely gathering spots. The design of the house incorporating the great views of the property and sunset from the back porch is wonderful, and the house and kitchen are fully equipped with everything you need. It was a peaceful spot and Hope was responsive to our questions and needs during our stay.

Our pups loved her backyard! So much room to run and play. Place was okay for the price since our dogs were welcome with no extra fee She was always friendly when our paths crossed. We enjoyed the little touches . Plenty of coffee and a snack for breakfast

I stayed with my 11 year old and her friend and it was the perfect place for us. The girls spent most of their time outside on the tree swings or wading in the small creek. I can’t even tell you how their TV is because the kids were having such fun outside (a small miracle to have them off screens.) Barbara and her daughter Liz were wonderful and so communicative. The place is really cute and had everything we needed. My daughter has requested we stay there every visit to Chapel Hill. ☺️

We were very happy with Danielle’s hospitality and the space worked so well for our family with a pet. I would highly recommend this place.

My daughter and I loved our comfortable, quiet stay at Patricia's house. The kitchen is wonderful, and the backyard was in full bloom! We enjoyed beautiful walks around nearby Salem College area. The house is so well taken care of, and Patricia had a great notebook of resources and recommendations for anything we would possibly need. We'd love to stay here again!

Sam & Nicki were wonderful, my drive to NC took much longer than expected so I arrived late in the evening. They both were flexible and accommodating. The Shack was very comfortable, bedding, kitchen had everything you could need, great shower. Clean, quiet, peaceful and private. Fresh eggs and water along with new pillows provided with out request, eggs delicious! Woke up to be greeted by a friendly cow, pony and horse. I had to leave early my sister had a sudden heart attack and passed away, Sam and Nicki could not have been more kind. Told me to leave the shack without worry for cleaning it up, although I did my best in such a distraught state. They followed up to make sure I made it back safely and sent kind and comforting words and prayers. I hope I an able to one day revisit and would recommend a stay at the shack should u be in the area. Thank you for your hospitality, flexibility, fresh eggs, and understanding. Bless to have had the opportunity to spend time at the shack 💙🙏

The home is absolutely beautiful! Our entire family was extremely comfortable with lots of gathering places and games to keep us entertained. Julie was very communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again.

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

The place was breathtaking. A lot of water activities to choose from !

This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

If you're like us and dig deep into the reviews, we want to correct some misinformation. The shower is larger than the standard 32", and we took successive unhurried showers and didn't run out of hot water. The location is private and quiet. Real value for the money.

Really liked staying there. Cute little place. Just right for what i needed. Will stay there again if need be.
