Bumblebee Cottage Greytown

OutiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Bumblebee Cottage was super cute and full of interesting pictures, decorations, magazines, books, beautiful china etc.. The pantry was very well stocked and I've never stayed anywhere with such a great selection of teas! It was very quiet and peaceful at night and in the morning we got to meet the chickens wandering around, before having freshly laid eggs for breakfast. Gail is a very friendly and helpful host, highly recommended!
The entrance to the cottage is framed by well-maintained shrubs and colorful flowers. A path leads to the front door, inviting guests into a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with sunlight filtering through the greenery.

Vineyard Quarters - Amongst the Vines

Sarah & MarkRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a relaxing stay at Elaine’s cottage. The location was exactly what we needed, peaceful, quiet and surrounded in beautiful countryside amongst the vines. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog, with a fully fenced section for dogs and kids to play in. The cottage had everything we needed, and was comfortable and clean. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place to recharge. The cottage worked really well for our young family.

Rose Cottage - summer pool - Kahutara, Wairarapa

StephRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a fabulous time celebrating our mums birthday with a weekend of relaxation at Melleny and Simon’s place. We had 3 young children who had a blast with the toys/books/pool and outdoor activities (just be mindful of a steep staircase to the third floor but this was foretold to us) Lovely peaceful location and Melleny and Simon were wonderful hosts with prompt communication and reassurance to our queries. We will be back!
A spacious living area is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling glass doors, offering views of the green landscape outside. A comfortable floral armchair and a dark leather sofa are arranged around a textured area rug. A wooden coffee table and a console provide functional decor.

A Little Bit Special

RosemaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was one of the loveliest Airbnbs I've stayed at. Lovely tranquil location with both sunrise and sunset views, the cottage is beautifully decorated and really warm and cozy, and it was so lovely being able to watch the stars from the outdoor bathtub at night! Absolutely loved our stay! :)
The entrance features a welcoming porch with wooden deck boards, complemented by decorative supports. Potted flowers and shrubbery enhance the outdoor area, while a gravel pathway leads to the front door with large glass windows flanking it.

Oak Cottage

AraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great holiday spot. Immaculate for a holiday home with normal dust up high, probably to be expected for a less used family retreat. Be prepared to clean out the coffee machine before use, I have it a miss, and there is no real tv/streaming option for entertainment. Though it was a lovely place to be offline and enjoy local attractions and read books. Also a great location, and so well appointed. Enjoyed the kitchen facilities in particular.

Wairarapa, Gladstone, Gobbler Country Cottage

SimonRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Loved our weekend stay at Tanya's beautiful cottage. The place had everything we needed, as well as a stunning view that was enjoyed while relaxing on the deck. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the golf course due to tired legs after a weekend of cycling on incredible local roads. Maybe next time. Tanya was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The Gatehouse - vintage cottage with rural views

KelseyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a fantastic place! Being rural but still close to town meant we got to enjoy the beautiful starry night untouched by light pollution but also still had access to stores and amenities as needed. The house is lovely, clean and cosy. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. Sally was very communicative and friendly. Our first night was a very very windy night so the windows rattled a bit - but rest of the stay was fine! So maybe worth packing some earplugs if the weather predicts high winds :) Highly recommend staying here, we had an absolutely amazing time!
