Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Martano

A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

We had a really great time at Valerias place. Everything is as described and better. Daniela welcomed us warmly and throughout our 3 weeks there she was always reachable and happy to help us out. Valerias cosy house was a great base for us from which we we able to explore the beautiful beaches and towns of the Salento region. On cloudier days our two sons (1 and 2) enjoyed playing in the closed backyard. The pizzeria next door offers delicious pizza and pasta and they even Lent us a vacuum cleaner to clean out the rental car. The same basically goes for the whole town. Everybody was really friendly and welcoming, especially towards our kids 🙃. Close by you can also find a really nice bakery with delicious bread, pinsa and other delicacies. I could go on like this for some time, but I don't want to bore anyone with the details of our trip. So to wrap it up: I can fully recommend staying at Valeria's! We would love to come back some day.

Gorgeous home, super clean and close to lots of amazing restaurants. AC worked very well. Extremely friendly and helpful host. Busy/loud at night which the host was honest about and left earplugs. Firm bed. Overall great experience!

Le Radici is a beautiful villa in which to enjoy a wonderful view in complete relaxation and privacy. The numerous courtyards are all very private and equipped with every comfort. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all wonderfully maintained and very clean. The welcome is like a luxury hotel: each room had creams and perfumes on the beds, each bathroom equipped with all the necessities. It was a short stay for us (7 people) in view of a wedding, but this choice on AirBnB made it even more unforgettable!

A wonderful four night stay in the historic centre of Lecce. The apartment/house was larger than expected. Perfect for families or friends travelling together. Giorgia was a great host, meeting us early at the apartment so we could store our cases. She provided drinks and breakfast food. All those little extras make for a special stay. I highly recommend a stay at Giorgia’s house.

We had a great 5 days exploring the area by car. Ersilia was very responsive and gave good recommendations. The accommodation had everything we needed, with a beautiful pool and garden area. Thank you!

What a lovely tucked away little place this is. The appartment is designed with taste, respect for history, all the comfort you could wish for. Kitchen very complete. A lovely flowered terrace to have your morning tea or breakfast. No wifi (yet?), but we did not miss it a bit. (On the nearby Piazza Salandra you can find free wifi). In the heart of the historic centre, with shops, cafes, restaurants, a central supermarket, everything one might think of nearby, just 2 minutes. Yet it is very quiet and secluded. Nardò itself is very elegant and pleasant. We would love to come again to this little place of Andrea and Maria. Thank you very much. Tot ziens!

We had a great time at Paolo's place. His desire to be as hospitable as possible is obvious, he recommended places to visit, he was very attentive to ensuring that our visit went smoothly. Available without being invasive, excellent interpersonal skills. His accommodation was very pleasant to stay in, with a beautiful highlighting of the magnificent volumes, and a very appreciated comfort. We enjoyed the small courtyard outside, where we had our lunches, despite the already advanced autumn season. Very happy also to have been able to avoid the overtourism of Lecce for the choice of our "base of life" for several days 👌🏼

This place is unique and on a beautiful property. A little bit hard to find but it is nice and spacious. We arrived late in the evening and still had to check out at 10:00 am the following morning unfortunately so we didn’t really get to enjoy much of the place.

Very nice hosting from Marina and very kind. Very practical washing machine and in addition with the tablets available. Very clean accommodation and good bedding. Happy hosting

Large apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, clean and in a quiet surrounding. Nice rooftop with kitchen, 360 sea view! A washing machine and an iron would be useful when you stay a few nights.

We had an amazing stay at casa coco. Marco was an excellent host- communication was amazing and he was always happy to help. The apartment is gorgeous and we could not get over how beautiful the terrace was in real life! The location was perfect for exploring the old town and the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone 😊

We absolutely loved our stay in the Artist's Apartment and would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce! The space had everything we needed and a beautiful terrace, with a hammock - perfect for relaxing after seeing the city. The shower is very small but this didn't bother us. The place is walkable to the beautiful old town and has air-con. The host let us in slightly early which was really helpful and appreciated. The flat was beautiful and had fun quirky art everywhere - we loved our stay!

Davide was super responsive and friendly, we enjoyed our stay the apartment is full of details and clean. We arrive later than plan he was super flexible on the check-in.

Andrea is a wonderful host who was helpful and responsive. We had a blow-out tire and Andrea told us of a great tire close to his place. The unit itself was large and the private terrace was even larger. The unit is maybe 100m from a supermarket and is close to virtually everything a traveler needs, eg. Access to main streets and highways, close to the historic area, etc.

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

Nieves is a truly lovely host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Her recommendations were invaluable and it was a genuine pleasure to meet her and her family. The house is beautiful with plenty of space, comfy bedrooms and everything you could possibly need. The large open terraces and pool surrounding the house make it a great place for socialising as a large group whilst enjoying the peace of its spectacular surroundings. It is easy to access and nearby the historic city of Lecce with all it has to offer including stunning baroque architecture and some great bars and restaurants. We will be back! Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

Had a great stay! The place was exactly as described – tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location was perfect: quiet, but still well connected. I particularly liked the outdoor area with pool. Bea was super friendly, helpful and always available. I'd come back anytime – absolutely recommended!

Stefania's house is not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect stay in Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unrestricted excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds you can take wonderful walks along small country roads all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is stunningly beautiful with lots of small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. Likewise, the house is absolutely perfect for a stay in the middle of nature. Thank you, Stefania, for the beautiful days! Chaya, Toni and Andreas

Wonderful hosts very warm and friendly . Antonio and Claudio are a delight. Very comfortable house with magnificent gardens and great swimming pool. Any easy 20min drive to gorgeous Lecce and close by to lots of other parts of Salento. A magical oasis in which to relax between adventures! Handy restaurant next door at the Agritourismo.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).
