Monthly Rentals in Marsh Island

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite AirBNB stays! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The photos do not do it justice. It is evident that Lauren poured much effort into the details here, and procured beautiful pieces to make this place the magical spot that it is. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh coffee. The attention to detail was remarkable, they even provided candles. This place was romantic, charming and welcoming. The historic home immediately drew you into the deep south and created an authentic feeling of the bayou. We loved rocking on the porch and listening to the peepers as the breeze blew the Spanish moss in the trees. Right down to the bedding, and quilts, this place was thoughtfully appointed. It is the opposite of a generic and sterile hotel. For travelers who appreciate energy, magic and creating an experience - this is the spot for you! We loved the wildlife, too!

The place was amazing, and Jeff was very responsive. The accommodation is decorated with great taste!!!! an extraordinary moment out of time. And the food of the menu offer were delicious.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could’ve hoped for. From the super comfortable bed to the well-stocked kitchen, every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. I honestly didn’t want to leave! I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.
