We were lucky enough to stay in the large and very comfortable room that Abdelkader reserves for guests in the great earthen house he lives in in Tikirte, a village full of charm. But it was indeed Abdelkader above all but also Mama Fatima, Khadija and the other family members and neighbors we met who made this stay exceptional. We felt like we were part of the community. Abdelkader picked us up when we arrived, we enjoyed his talents as a cook, guide and many others that I'll let you discover.
