Enjoy this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette, just off of HWY M-28. Expect traffic noise. It has aQ bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairs.

Snowmobile directly from the home to over 400 trails.

Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. About a mile to antique shopping, restaurants, bars, Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking or hiking and mega RAMBA Trails.

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Located 20 minutes from Marquette and 30 minutes from Munising, our home offers a quiet place to relax and feel close to nature.
