Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Marlborough District

Paradise! Without a doubt, this is the nicest accommodation we have experienced in New Zealand. From the beautifully tended expansive gardens, to the stylish and comfortable furnishings, this place has it all. It’s a chef’s dream- two incredibly well stocked kitchens at your disposal, with every kitchen appliance, kitchen gadget or pot/pan you could possibly need. We didn’t want to leave- in fact we loved it so much we extended our stay. Don’t miss this place- it’s amazing!!

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

This was our second visit to Atatu and we weren't disappointed. This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The house is fantastic with every facility you could possibly need. A place for total relaxation with pool, spa and space. Beautiful countryside and the sounds of nature on your doorstep. Panoramic views across rolling hills of olive and pine nut trees out to the ocean beyond. If you like to cook then you'll find everything you need in the well appointed kitchen. Lots of dining space both inside and out. Basia is the ultimate host. Informative, helpful, proactive, doing everything she can to make sure your stay is perfect. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return a third time next year.

100% recommends The boot. hubby and I are always looking for unique stays and this certainly fit the bill. awesome surroundings, great fireplaces, comfy bed. the little details like home made bread and fresh flowers made us feel right at home. thank you Judy, we had such an awesome time. ps... the ginger slice at Jesters is THE BEST!

Host very nice showing us around. Beautiful area with farm animals next door but close to town as well. Clean and functional spa (ie jets worked, pretty rare at rentals) much appreciated after hiking the Queen Charlotte.

Overall a very relaxing stay. Elwynn (the host) provides food to feed the sheep and is very welcoming/hospitable. Would recommend purchasing the homemade dinner - so delicious and fresh! Beautiful farm scenery, quiet nights, and an incredible view of the stars made this a lovely unplugged stay! There are a couple of rams on the property that could be aggressive, but as long as you give them space they don’t mind you. They also have a young dog on the property that is full of energy and loves to interact/play!

Angie is an amazing host. Other than we asked so many questions and favors, all she has been doing was being nice, calm and supportive. The tiny house isn't so tiny.. we were very surprised to see how big the house is versus tiny houses. You have a beautiful lake just in front of you, the house has all amenities you need for cooking or relaxing. There is no wifi - we kinda liked it, place to talk with your partner and have a great night with her. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Would come again! We wish you the best, thank you!
