Das Apartment liegt wunderschön in der Natur abseits von Trubel und Verkehrslärm. Die alte Masseria ist schön hergerrichtet und die Besitzer haben um das Gebäude einen schönen Garten mit großen Bäumen angelegt. Die Terasse ist perfekt, um die Sonne und ein gutes Buch zu genießen. Die Ausstattung bietet alles für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Man ist schnell mit dem Auto in Porto Badisco und Otranto. Zu Fuß kann der Bauxitsee, die felsige Küste und eine Reihe von alten Masserien erwandert werden. Ein perfekter Ort für Liebhaber von dolce vita!

Great house with sea access (not a beach but a rocky waterfront well signalled that allows access to swim). I love the location, which is walkable to Castro’s old town and Castro Marina seaside (although, in my opinion, a car is mandatory here). Spacious and charming. Very responsive and polite hosts. The only caveat is the fact that you need to pay extra for linen, towels, cleaning, and electrical charges and put in a security deposit, which is not standard with other Airbnb houses (and I've been renting houses all over the world for the past 10+ years). But the price was very affordable, and the hosts communicated the extra charges well in advance, so we were well informed and accepted the extra payments. But I recommend reading the whole listing information carefully to avoid surprises. It’s my third year spending my summer holidays in Castro, and I felt confident about booking this house because I knew the area well. I would recommend this house to other travellers.

Tornati a La Grotta dopo tanti mesi, non era la prima, nè la seconda volta bensì la quinta, il proprietario gentilissimo come sempre super disponibile,casa impeccabile, è un vero e proprio rifugio tranquillo, in pieno centro storico ma con una tranquillità da sogno, nonostante affacci su una delle vie del paese più gremita di gente, non c'è alcun modo che questo intacchi il silenzio e la pace che c'è nella casa, è un posto meravigliosamente semplice, è una piccola casa accogliente e semplice ma curatissima e molto bella,consigliatissimo a tutti. 10/10

We had a great stay! Enzo is the best host one can imagine. Gifted us some wine, bakeries and a pannetone for new years eve as we arrived. Two days later he got us some traditional stuff from a pasticceria. We loved all of the italian flavor! Also there are many beautiful cities with even more beautiful historic centers around and easy to reach. 10/10 would recommend and also we do! Thanks Enzo!

Ci abbiamo trovato molto bene, appartamento completo di tutto e con tanto di spazio per i bambini, situata in una zona tranquilla con negozi dintorni e con un mare bellissimo a pochi minuti. La signora Francesca molto gentile e disponibile sempre, abbiamo fatto delle belle vacanze ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie mille per averci accolto

La casa di Tatiana è ampia ed è dotata di un bellissimo terrazzo molto grande ottimo per condividere bei momenti come durante un bel tramonto. La casa è vicina al mare ed al centro di Porto Cesareo e Tatiana è stata un host disponibile ed accogliente. Consiglio questa casa per chi volesse trascorrere qualche giorno a Porto Cesareo.

Really nice secluded area great for kids or if you want quiet. It’s rural but lots near by. Hosts were great attentive and helpful but also let us keep to ourselves. Would recommend!
