5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

Lovely place! Amazing roof terrace that we really enjoyed. The local beach restaurant where you get a small discount served excellent food.

Wonderful stay! Host had clear instructions for an easy self check-in process and was communicative throughout our stay which was greatly appreciated. Loved the location as it was walking distance to everything. The washing machine, kitchen and all of the amenities included made for a comfortable stay. 10/10 recommend!!!! :)

The house and location are simply a dream! Thank you very much, dear Christine and dear Christian, for making this beautiful place available to us! We spent a week with our little daughter (2 years) in this fantastic house and enjoyed every minute. The surrounding attractions are fantastic, and the large garden invites you to relax and linger. Communication was excellent. Stephanie, our local contact person, welcomed us warmly, explained everything to us in detail and was always available to answer any questions. She also had great tips for grocery stores. Christine was also there with her family for a few days, and it was a pleasure to meet her. It was exciting to learn more about the history of the house. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this vacation home! Thanks for everything!

Siena is a city that steals your heart, and this Airbnb made our experience even more special. The beautiful scenery was a standout, stunning vistas of the Tuscan landscape and the charm of the historic city were right at our doorstep. We had a great experience from the initial booking, responsiveness with questions and all communications, recommendations on what to see and do, instructions on everything we needed to know about the Villa, parking, etc. and the utmost friendliness that was extended to us was all so much appreciated. We felt like honored house guests. You will not go wrong selecting this as your home away from home as well!

One of the best views you will find! Place is clean and comfortable. AC in every room and worked well. Probably the best washer dryer we had in Italy :) Incredibly responsive host. Highly recommend!

Marco’s place is in the heart of Montichiello village, perched atop a hill with beautiful views. We stayed one night during our biking trip from Siena and wished we could have stayed longer! Marco is a kind and thoughtful host. The apartment is clean, stylish, and comfortable, with spotless bathrooms and a great shower. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a cozy table for meals. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan keep the space cool in summer. The apartment is on the first floor, reached by stairs lined with flower pots, and features a charming bookshelf at the entrance. On the ground floor, there’s a storage room where we safely stored our bikes alongside Marco’s. It also has a washing machine and dryer available. A local grocery store is just 300 meters away. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in this lovely village!

At first we wondered if the location would be too remote, but that was not the case. Perfect in every way. We will definitely be back.

Wow, beyond gorgeous place that surpassed all expectations. Had incredible views and so much room for the kids to run around and explore. Pietro was fantastic with recommendations too. A dream vacation!!

My friends & I spent 5 days at Il Casone in May, and what a delight it was. The Villa is both isolated and a short drive to various levels of towns and shops, cafes, and restaurants as needed. And of course a well equipped kitchen to cater for yourself. We were met by Roberta, the hosts father, and had a wonderful introduction and tour of the garden, the history and stories of the house and area, eventually we were allowed inside! It was a great welcome and Roberto was a good help to us many times we had questions the Villa is nicely renovated, farmhouse style and has everything you need it is very clean and good for people, like me, who might have mobility issues as it is all on one level and has wall in showers. While there we did a full day tour of the Chianti region which was great. They picked us up at the Villa and we visited two places to taste and also had lunch - do this! We loved our rural Idyll and would recommend Matteo’s Villa enthusiastically! Thanks Matteo & Robert

We had the most amazing time in the house as well as walking around the city in the evenings. The location is perfect for everything from shopping to restaurants and wine tastings. This is an absolutely stunning place, on so many levels. The villa and surroundings look exactly like the pictures, but they can’t truly do justice to the tranquil beauty of the landscape and the comfort of the house. We loved this place. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. It was a bit cold for the pool, but we braved it a few times - hard to resist with the stunning view. The house is a quick walk to the tiny yet utterly charming town of Montebenichi, with its one lovely little restaurant (with wonderful food). There are other walks in the area, including down the road towards the nearby wolf sanctuary - the wolves add to the magical atmosphere with their baying at intervals during the day. The road to the house is narrow at times, and intimidating at first, but gets easier as you get familiar with the twists and turns. The overall location is perfect for exploring Tuscany, a quick drive to many of the top sites. This place delivers on the Tuscan dream vacation.

On top of the amazing stay, the beds were comfy with great linen. Such a gorgeous find. Would have loved to stay longer. The balcony at night was a highlight.

Perfectly located. It had every amenity you could possibly imagine — and even more! The space was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed. The attention to detail exceeded our expectations, making it one of the best accommodations we’ve experienced. Highly recommended!

The host, Giacomo, opened the door to a real gem. An attic apartment, complete with every comfort. The very beautiful view of the hills fills the house with light and color. Located a short walk from the center of San Gimignano, it is the perfect space for a couple who want to explore the village, and then retreat comfortably in an oasis of peace. Finely furnished and perfectly equipped. Dishwasher, microwave, oven, washer/dryer, coffee machine, toaster, iron, hair dryer, two smart TVs... in short, a complete suite for a special vacation. Free parking in the immediate vicinity.

We had a lovely stay at this flat. It is as stylish as it looks on the pictures, has everything one can need and was very clean. The location is ideal to explore the island and includes a parking spot. Corrado is a very attentive host (eg. there was an extra set of towels for our children) and answers any request quickly (eg. we could check in early).
