Take in the Historic Charm at a Luminous Marigny Loft

Gather in the shared courtyard for drinks under the string lights at this chic, Scandinavian-style pad on the 2nd floor of a Victorian home. *** This is an open loft space with 2 smaller lofts from the main loft space. It has 3 queen beds & 1 sofa bed. *** Period features include soaring cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, sash windows, and a brick fireplace. OWNER'S PERMIT: 22-RSTR-01677 OPERATOR PERMIT: 22-OSTR-01670 The space has cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors & a brick fireplace, a cool den and 3 separate loft spaces with the 3 beds with sloped ceilings. We kept the furnishings chic, Scandinavian, clean and modern for the loft spaces. There is a television, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot for your convenience. Let us know if you need more accommodations as we have more space available. You will have full access to the courtyard with a dining table & six chairs. Additional lounge seating soon. Enjoy the twinkle of adorable string lights and the gas lanterns at night! Enjoy the convenience of keypad entry but if you need anything, we are just a phone call {or a text} away. Your safety is paramount --- the place is within a compound with a gate & keypad entry as well. Fauborg Marigny is known for it's Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs especially the ones lining up Frenchmen Street. It's also the next neighborhood to the east of the French quarter. Parking & Parking Lots: Most of our guests with cars park on the street but this is totally their/your discretion. *** There is street parking with a residential permit. If you are flying, we recommend not to get a rental car as New Orleans is a small city w/ various transportation to choose from. Uber/Lyft from the airport to our place is about $30 and expect a 30-minute ride depending on the traffic. Lots close by: Decatur Lot, 2124 Decatur St. 500-598 Elysian Fields Ave Parking Getting around Public Transportation --- TrainRampart-St. Claude streetcar https://www.norta.com/Maps--Schedules/System-Map/Line.aspx?ID=49 --- BusMarigny- Bywater https://www.norta.com/Maps-Schedules/System-Map/Line.aspx?ID=5 --- Bikehttps://bluebikesnola.com/ Oh & it takes less than 2 minutes to get an Uber & Lyft in this location! We are also 4 blocks away from the {Lower} French quarter. Our Favorite Eats: For brunch, Ruby Slipper is next door to us & Horn's is a block away. On the cheap but oh-so good --- Dat Dog on Frenchmen, Port of Call on Esplanade & Mona Lisa on Royal. It may be a long walk but you gotta check out the St. Roch Market, an 1875 market reborn as a food hall with eats from Zagat rated chefs. Beer anyone? Try NOLA's own, Briuex Carre Fauborg Marigny is known for it's Cajun bistros, bohemian bars, and jazz clubs lining Frenchmen Street. It's also the next neighborhood to the east of the French quarter. Head to nearby City Park for the playground, ponds, and gorgeous oak trees.
