Waterfront vacation rentals in Marennes-Hiers-Brouage

Edith was a professional and very helpful host. Her apartment is on the harbour marina close to everything It is quirky and has very modern decoration. We had a great time walking to see some wonderful sights. We ate out a couple of times and food was very good and fine value. We visited the Aquarium and the Maritime Museum, both of which were interesting and informative. We took advantage of renting the apartment's underground parking space. This was an excellent decision as parking can be challenging. The boulangerie underneath the apartment sells great produce, especially breakfast pastries.

Firstly Patrick was great to deal, he was very responsive and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Patrick met me at the apartment and took me through all the required features and provided great local recommendations. The apartment is spacious and is in the best part of La Rochelle, you walk out the front door and you are right in the restaurant area and only a few minutes walk to the markets and town, you couldn’t get a better location. Despite being right where the action is the apartment is completely noise free and you are guaranteed a great nights sleep. There is a good oven, kitchen things, washing machine and dryer, basically everything you need for a stay. I highly recommend Patrick’s place, it ticks all the boxes.

Very nice apartment located in the city center with a magnificent view of the port of La Rochelle. The apartment is spacious, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room. The terrace is also a big plus. Clear and fluid communication with the concierge. We will be back!

Nothing to reproach for the accommodation which is impeccable. You just have to plan to park at the parking lot most often for a fee because the accommodation is in a pedestrian zone, otherwise park a little away. Well surrounded by its aquarium and historical monuments that can be visited within 15 minutes. i would highly recommend and would come back in a second. 🐟🐳🐋

Very nice stay. Very responsive host for a last-minute stay, thank you very much. The proximity to all shops allows you to stay as if in a hotel: eat at the restaurant, even have breakfast in nearby hotels or at the New York restaurant facing the sea. The bakery at the foot of the apartment also allows very pleasant meals at the apartment (butcher 2 steps away too). Departure from beautiful steps to St Palais or Royan. Beach opposite the apartment. We will be back!

We stayed with 6 adults, a three-year-old and a 4-month-old baby. Warm welcome. Spacious house as described. Tree garden. Both beaches are nearby and you can walk there very easily in a few minutes. Comfortable bedding. The two terraces are really a plus to have your meals outdoors or relax in peace. We recommend it unreservedly.

Great host, well-equipped accommodation, beautiful location for visiting Oléron Island

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The house is warm and welcoming. Extremely clean, new bedding. Quiet neighborhood, close to the sea and some shops. A good starting point for many walks. Raphaël came to see us after our arrival, very nice he gave us some great tips for walks to take around.

The house and its services met our expectations. Anaïs was extremely responsive, attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable in the house and found it to be an excellent welcome. We booked the day before for the next day, Anaïs was extremely accommodating.

We were made so welcome by Isabelle and Serge. The accommodation is perfect- great location to explore the island and such a comfortable base. We barely moved the car after arriving and cycled everywhere. Boyardville is a good location to enjoy beaches, restaurants and wildlife. We highly recommend a stay here and would love to return.

Pauline is very accessible, responds quickly and gave us some great tips on where to go, a place to go back to and to recommend without any problems.

A very pleasant and well exposed accommodation with a beautiful view. The bedding is comfortable. The apartment is very quiet. The accommodation is very well located 15 minutes walk from the old port of La Rochelle, it is very simple we did not take the car for our entire stay.
