We had a great weekend with the family in this pretty cottage full of charm! The place is quiet, tastefully decorated in a very warm fisherman's hut style. The south-facing terrace is perfect for relaxing. A big thank you to Framboise for her warm and attentive welcome, she has greatly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable. Very quiet neighborhood. Friendly welcome. Easy to maintain house. Terrace and garden very easy if you have a dog. Not overlooked. Good bedding. Small supermarket 5 minutes by car and accommodation close to La Rochelle.

We are happy with our stay. The location is very very quiet, the accommodation is spacious, pleasant, functional. I would recommend this place without any issues.

Anne-Marie generously welcomed us with a basket more than stocked ( cider, cake,pineau...) . We fed the chickens that made us feel good with 3 eggs a day. We also enjoyed the vegetable garden. The house is renovated and spacious for 6 people, the garden with several terraces in the shade or sun to choose from, the library and games are available. Big garden nice for our dog. The beach is a 10-15 min walk, that of the great coast or the wild coast accessible by bike in 15 min or by car. Beautiful Palmyra Zoo nearby. Anne-Marie was available throughout the week, and very flexible on arrival/ departure times and good advice on restaurants and activities in the area. Central accommodation to visit La Tremblade in Saint Georges de Didonne, by car or bike (many bike paths). We highly recommend for families or groups of friends.

Very good quality rental. Fabienne takes care of her occupants. A very well-equipped kitchen. The living room is spacious and very pleasant. The comfortable rooms and the children's room are very appreciated. Lots of storage to settle in and feel at home. A beautiful terrace, we would recommend this house and look forward to next year.

We had a great time , the neighborhood is very peaceful . The house is bright, well equipped, the host Guillaume is available and very nice . The nearby bike path is a plus for safe driving with 3 children aged 9.7 and 3. The beaches are close and perfect for a bodyboard initiative.

3 days of appreciable parenthesis in this charming cottage! The place is comfortable as its own home and refined as an exceptional destination. We sleep very well in this cozy bed and the quietness of the countryside. We also appreciate the non-chlorinated pool for a few fathoms at the end of the day, facing the beautifully wooded garden. Jérémy and Julien are caring hosts, who meticulously renovated this beautiful home! The location is ideal to easily radiate to the main tourist destinations of Charente-Maritime: Royan, Rochefort, Saintes, Marennes, Oléron...

we had a lovely stay here. Saint George-De-Didonne is a beautiful place and Emilies home is a haven. The heated pool was wonderful and we used it every day despite the weather not being the hottest. Emilie and her husband were both very friendly and we would not hesitate to return. We were even treated to a bowl of Emilies home grown figs - They were delicious!

We had a pleasant stay in this residence, Everything was as advertised, a quiet and ideally located place. Anne and David were very welcoming hosts, good tips for restaurants and discovering the region and others. If you want to put down your suitcases for your vacation, don't hesitate, book with them, you won't be disappointed.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

We have just spent a week, July 2024, a family of 12 plus a baby, at this very beautiful house. There is everything and more you could ever need. It is quiet. It is a beautiful area and the village has a beautiful bakery and supermarket. The beach is approx 15 mins by car. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The kids played tirelessly in the beautiful big pool. The house has cots, high chair and even toys for the children. It was my 60th birthday and my family organised a local private chef (Manu chef a domicile) to cook for us, recommended by Will and it was amazing. We picked up hire cars at the train station also recommended by Will. The whole process was more than easy. We had the best time and would highly recommend to a large family. We hope that this is not the last time we stay at this stunning house and hopefully not our last time in La Rochelle. Holiday blues are real when you’ve visited such a beautiful place 😊

We stayed here with a family with 2 children aged 1&3. Manon and Thibault were always in the weather to make the stay as nice as possible. Everything is provided for the household (also for children), very large outdoor swimming pool, trampoline and outdoor toys, very good animals. Cozy and spacious cottage, good mattresses, clean linen, private garden.

Bernard and Monique's house is a lovely house, very well arranged, well heated, perfectly located close to the sea. The layout is perfect for a family with the possibility for parents to benefit from a separate bedroom and bathroom, and for children to be well settled on the first floor… The hospitality is both warm and respectful of the hosts. It's a great place and we'll be happy to go back.

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Olga, who immediately put us at ease with her smile and kindness. She gave us valuable and unique tips on things to see, visit and experience on the island – authentic recommendations, off the beaten track! The apartment is perfectly equipped, there is absolutely nothing lacking. It feels good from the first minute, like home – or even better! As a bonus, a neighbor offered us fresh oysters: a delicious gift and an unforgettable moment. We recommend this place 1000%, both for the accommodation and for discovering this island! Nathalie is very welcoming, the garden was great for our dogs,the only small downside but nothing bad ,( it's me who should have asked) but there is no salt,no dish soap,no towel,no sponge or hand soap so I had to go back and do the shopping ,if it can be used for the next ones 😉 otherwise the walks by the sea were very nice and the area is very quiet
