Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay! A peaceful place close to the forest and the beach but only 10 minutes by car from Sunne. 15-minute drive to Sunne Ski & Bike or 1 hour to the larger resort Hovfjället for those who like winter activities. The lake is shallow, so if the weather is right, it is a good lake for ice skating, but this is for each person to ensure for themselves. For those interested in culture, there is nice Alma Löv 20 minutes' drive away and Selma Lagerlöfs Mårbacka on the other side of the mountain.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The rack is available for rent on site. 15 min walk to Selma SPA. 20 min walk (3min drive) to the golf club, Sunne GK. 10 min walk to swimming area at Fryken. 9 km, 11 minute drive to skiing in Ski Sunne. 40 minute drive to Hovfjället. 1.5 hours to Branäs.

The park is surrounded by fairytale forests and lakes. Sunne golf course and Västanå theatre are both a short walk away. Water park, downhill ski slopes, a mountain bike park as well as great cross country skiing tracks are five minutes by car. The house is beautiful and spacious with great amenities. In the surrounding area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a trip up to "Rännbergs Toppen" (hiking trail up to a nearby mountain peak)
