Very nice Accommodation with a great host

We had a nice and relaxing stay in a traditional Greek home from a secluded spot of the island. The bathroom and kitchen are tiny but cover the bare minimum. Sheets and towels were changed halfway through our stay (we stayed 9 days). Getting around by car is necessary but the host can provide taxi related details for the connection to the airport. Whenever I needed, the host was very kind and answered my questions. The beach was sandy and especially beautiful. I would come back to this accommodation any time.

We had a lovely stay in Petritis, we had to call to find the apartment as could not locate the provided address, but Christos kindly met us to show us the way. The apartment was very clean and spacious, lovely shower and comfy bed, with beautiful sea views. Netflix etc available on a large screen tv if required! Enjoyed sunny mornings on the balcony, with a well stocked supermarket just down the road. Locals were all very friendly, if only we could speak Greek, however almost everyone spoke English, we're so lucky. The sea was beautifully clear, but chilly ... as it was April! Stony beaches on the East, but sandy beaches nearby on the West of the island. We hired a car and travelled all around the island, Corfu Town is a must, the island has many narrow lanes, would recommend a small car. Perfect for those wanting a chilled holiday, perhaps reading and watching the world go by, good food and hospitality at Leonidas, Petritis and also Akrogiali cafe in Boukari, overlooking the sea!

Wonderful place to stay. Have been trying to stay for three years but Covid delayed this. So it was third time lucky. Only comment is the name plaque by the roadside needs to be a lot bigger so that taxi drivers can find the villa as the villa is quite concealed from the road.
