I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

Perfect stay!

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the time of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with the positive, with details thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Definitely an experience to repeat.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Hello Mr. Pedro! We wanted to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well-maintained and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to take our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. That made all the difference! We really felt at home and very welcome and relaxed. We will recommend it and will definitely be back at the next opportunity! Many thanks for everything! Perfect place to relax and unwind …in the country when visiting Monsanto…,great AC,comfortable bed and everything you need in the kitchen…grocery store is about 20 minute drive and no restaurants around so best to plan ahead for food… there is a nice charcoal BBQ a on the premises with everything you need to BBQ….there is a small store for water ,pop ect a five minute walk..Cecília brought some fresh cherries from her parents farm and had delicious peach jam on the table….would highly recommended…

Owner / host Henrique and his father Philipe are responsible and warmly responsive to their guests. A cozy and well-kept place, where we met several of the locals and enjoyed the small town charm of Cativelos.

Sandrine and Julien were excellent hosts, attentive and responsive ot all of our questions. They have built a beautiful Dome haven for visitors and we were happy to be able to stay in such a special construction. The dome was spacious and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our November stay. We would highly recommend and will definitely return ourselves.

We spent a few relaxing days, the house is very good, quiet, it has everything you need to have an unbeatable stay. Everything matches the description. I recommend it, it's spectacular, I love it.

It was a sweet surprise to be at Natalia's house. The house is a sweet relaxation, full of details, super clean, quiet and it was a pleasure to communicate with Natalia, always attentive to making her guests feel at home. The place is incredible and exceeded my expectations.

Great apartment. Lots of room. The church bells are loud so you have to get used to them. Daniel was great to work with.

We spent 3 days at the riverside farm. We had a great stay, the surrounding space was amazing and especially the pool area was wonderful

My husband and I had a great stay. We were on a quiet street on the edge of town but very easy to walk for food and fun. We were fortunate to meet the hosts and they were very kind and accommodating. The house was perfect for the two of us to be comfortable and cook. We very much enjoyed our time on the edge of the Serra da Estrela national park in the beauty of Portugal.

We enjoyed our stay in Vela. Antonio and Mrs Augusta are great hosts. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

A beautiful family friendly home. Dini is a lovely hostess who was very responsive and communicative. The garden around the house is extremely beautiful and the view is amazing

The house is excellent, very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. When we arrived, wood was burning in the fireplace and the house was warm. Near the house there is a shop and a cafe with wonderful local residents. We had lunch and dinner at the cafe, very tasty and budget. I recommend to everyone , we will definitely come back!

Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

Due to a change in our plans we did not stay but the host was very helpful throughout the booking stage
