Little Holme spacious cottage

BrendaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely cottage ideally located for our visit to the Hay festival. Su gave us sufficient information for us to enjoy our stay and was welcoming and very helpful. We used the New Strand pub, next door. The welcome and the food are excellent and the landlady, Briar, extremely friendly. Eardisley is a picturesque village.

Wye Valley & Welsh Border views

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful family weekend at Peters, the house is beautiful and the views are awesome. My son absolutely loved his room and all of the toys that were kindly available to use. Peter left some really lovely bits for us and useful local info. The garden is also lovely with plenty to explore, the seating area was perfect for a glass of wine late afternoon.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft was a pleasure for my stay. Every aspect was as advertised or better. Really enjoyed the chairs outside the front door that allowed me to sit peacefully and download my day.

Otter Cottage (nr Hay-on-Wye)

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an idyllic spot. The worst thing about Otter Cottage is having to come back to reality, and waking up without the sound of birdsong and a babbling brook every morning. Glorious walks in every direction. Ancient woodlands. Short drives to lots of great country pubs (although, be warned, most are only open Thurs-Sun). And a beautiful, well-loved cottage, full of books and gorgeous embroidered, hand-made things. A pretty perfect spot for a peaceful, restful break. Thank you!

Upper Barn

ClareRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely time at the Upper Barn. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and it was in beautiful surroundings. It was so peaceful; the only sounds we heard were birds and sheep! We went into Peterchurch for lunch at The Nags Head, which was very friendly and the food was good. We hope to be back soon.

Pet friendly 2 bed first floor flat

KennethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a brilliant stay and we were very pleased with the accommodation which was well equipped and the rural outlook and views from the flat exceeded our expectations. It was great that there were pretty local walks from the flat which meant we didn’t need to drive. Simon was a great host and we hope to return to the flat at a later date.

Apple Bough Cottage

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful stay! Pearl and family were friendly and welcoming, she made sure we were settled in and knew were everything was, and offered lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Great facilities just as listed, very comfortable King sized beds and two bathrooms. The garden space is really stunning and tranquil- waking up to the peace and quiet with just birdsong was really special, and great for stargazing at night as there is no light pollution. Lots to see and do locally- we didn’t have time to see and do everything we wanted to so definitely hope to go back again in future as we had such a great time!

Unique Private Woodland camp with hot tub

ArronRating, 5 stars4 months ago
An amazing location and place to stay. Truly off grid (no plug sockets, but hardwired fridge and lights). The house itself is beautiful with lots of amazing history. Bear in mind it is cold and drafty but once you have the fires up and running it’s very cosy. We took extra blankets and clothes which meant it wasn’t a problem. £30 for extra logs is fair given the amount you get for your money. The estate is amazing and we walked miles without seeing a single person. Seen deer and owls and heard lots of wildlife at night. Truly a unique and special place.
