Incredible! We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful. We were fortunate to have clear skies on our first night, and had an amazing view of the stars. A little bit difficult to get around i.e to the beach and lighthouse etc however we made the most of relaxing, and would definitely return.

Kauri Lodge was a beautiful, peaceful stay for the 2 nights we stayed. As soon as you walk in the room was cozy and warm with a comfortable living area and beautiful views from the inside out. We loved having the spa to relax and the bbq to do outdoor cooking as well as the books about the areas history. Definitely would love to return again!

I am beyond grateful for the extraordinarily beautiful home and the extra mile the hosts go to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. A weather event tried to hinder our setting but we were so safe and very secure. They gave us use of a vehicle to access the property safely. Breakfast was supplied for us and it was better than a continental buffet. With everything coming from local sources. Cant say enough to express our gratitude. That spa though.....OMG 😍 so good. Could have slept in there. Highly recommend. Im definitely booking again.

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.

Lovely accommodation, great location. Nice and clean and the beds were so comfy!

We loved every minute of our stay at Nuku Cabin. Diane was so welcoming and made us feel totally at home. I loved all of the thoughtful detail she has gone to make our dog feel at home also, with supplying a doggy bowl, blanket and bed. The house was absolutely pristine and had everything we could possibly want. My family will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s cabin. The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful view through the large windows — it was exactly the quiet escape we were looking for. The location was also ideal, just a short drive to town and the beach. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin—the view was nice, and we truly enjoyed our time here. It was a great escape from the city. James was very helpful and responded quickly. Our puppy absolutely loved it too! He explored the cabin right away and had a blast chasing his ball in the open area. We recommend it for both humans and furry friends!

Absolutely LOVED our stay! It was private, beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Super comfortable and well thought-out. Really enjoyed our stay at Clive’s place. He was a great host with lots of good recommendations. Pataua south is a beautiful location and we hope to be back. Cabin was just what we needed and very tidy. Perfect spot for a dog and the beach is only 10m outside of your own private gate!

Tracy was super accommodating. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The continental breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed the rustic vibe with the decor and beautiful surroundings on the farm. We would love to come back. If you want a truly peaceful, rejuvenating escape in a beautiful serene location - highly recommend Susans place. Its rustuc, kitchy, full of personality and a great respite from city life. Susan is accomodating, friendly and lets you enjoy the pond and scenery in peace. Added bonus was no cell service at the Barn so we could switch off from the world - however Wifi at Susans house was accessible whenever we wanted (which wasnt that often) and we loved being off the grid for our 3 days. Thank you Susan and Sasha it was such a delight! x

We had such a wonderful stay at Darcy’s tiny house! The space was spotless and beautifully maintained, you can really tell a lot of care has gone into it. The location is peaceful and remote, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the views were absolutely stunning. A special highlight was waking up to a few friendly goats outside the door in the morning! We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape in nature!

Anna's place was easy to find and very peaceful. The comfortable bed meant I got two great night's sleep. I loved the off-the-grid living. Anna is friendly and gave great advice on where to get a good meal after a long day of driving and the BBQ worked well for a meal on the second night of my stay. With no light pollution, the stars at night were amazing!! Plenty of off road parking.

Carolynn and Alan are wonderful hosts. Very responsive, looks after you very well and never misses to give us guidance and tips for local activities that are happening. instructions are precise and very hands on on extending help. the place is well mentained, location is peacefully and proximity is within 5 minutes drive in all directions to the town, activities and sceneries. would book them again.

We were instantly at home in this lovely little cabin. Everything we needed was available including a very well organized/stocked kitchen. I have a background in natural nutrition and really appreciated the homemade yoghurt and sourdough. It was the best I have ever had. The fresh fruits were grown right on the property. It is a truly idyllic spot amongst the native plants, birds and farm animals nearby. I can’t say enough. I managed to do some yoga out on the deck went to the beach and met a Captain Cook pig in the same day! Feeling grateful for the chance to stay here. With a full heart we are headed home.

Beautiful cottage, location and stunning views. Lovely continental breakfast provided and extra goodies too. Had a wonderful stay and highly recommend. Maureen is a great host.

Ursula’s cottage was very spacious and contained everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The location was perfect for walking to the Town Basin on walking trails, not roads. Although we didn’t meet Ursula her online contact was friendly and proactive.

Highly recommended, beautiful setting. Spotless, extremely orderly and cosy interior. Thomas is a great host, attentive and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

The Airbnb is fantastic! You have your own lovely hut and garden and feel completely private. Yes the toilette is outside but it is only 1m from the entrance and it is really nice like a seperate room, not a big deal. It was super clean, too! Sarah was also really nice. Highly recommended!
