Great location very close to lakefront . Lovely view from apartment and spacious inside . Comfortable, well equipped and cozy. The mineral thermal pool was a novelty and very nice on a cold night after mountain biking .

Very clean and recently refurbished. Nice furniture and quiet, considering how close it is to a main road. Very comfortable stay.

Friendly hosts, close to the beach, spacious place, hot tub (!) and two cuties (dog and cat) welcoming us upon arrival. We were unlucky with the weather, but the hot tub made even the rainy evenings enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

An amazing time enjoyed by friends from NZ and UK with young families. The house was fitted with everything wr needed, with a very homely feel to it! Some of the highlights: - feeding the pet sheep - picking organic fruit from the fruit trees - enjoying family meals around the dining room table with the beautiful view - playing in the pool - relaxing on the deck watching the beautiful night sky without light pollution Beautiful place to stay and catch up with friends. We stayed here with 12 friends for my husband’s 30th, and it was absolutely perfect. He loves native bush and birds, so this place was a dream. The house feels like a fairytale—spacious, warm, and beautifully designed. The kitchen is well-equipped and flows easily to the patio, where we barbecued and dined outdoors. There’s a handy kitchen window for passing food outside, and both indoor and outdoor tables made it easy to adapt to the weather. The property sits on 7 acres of native bush with walking tracks, birds like piwakawakas following us, and a magical glow worm walk at night. There's an outdoor fire area with couches, ambient lighting, and a speaker system that connects throughout the house and outside. It’s perfect for reconnecting with friends and nature. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and so grateful. Huge thanks to the hosts for the clear communication and thoughtful touches. If you're thinking of booking—do it. You won’t regret it.

We had an excellent stay at Caroline’s place. We usually feel a bit guilty leaving our dog with friends when we head away for the weekend, so we were thrilled to find such a welcoming, pet-friendly option. Caroline’s place exceeded our expectations – it’s beautifully presented, incredibly well-stocked, and has everything you could need. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to the town centre and the lake. Caroline herself was lovely and very accommodating. We’d highly recommend staying here, especially for fellow pet owners.

Lovely place in a quiet and secure location, convenience stores and amenities close by. The house is large, well kept with a large garden. We all had a very nice time.
