Our stay at this stunning home overlooking Lake Taupō and the golf course was nothing short of incredible. The views in every direction were absolutely breathtaking, and the home's design, furnishings, and fittings were all top-notch—every detail was perfect. It truly felt like a dream to wake up in such a beautiful space each morning. This was, without a doubt, our best Airbnb stay ever, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to call this place home for four nights. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

For the larger family group of 8 this property was perfect. Easy to access Taupo as needed and a lovely peaceful property. Great furnishings and comfy sleep! The kitchen was full of everything and it felt like home from home. Host totally quick and responsive to a message I needed to send. Recommend highly, and will stay again as a large group.

Very nice modern Off grid BNB, beautiful rural setting and set away back overlooking great landscape with an incredible view, very well-appointed accommodation with a very comfy bed and fantastic shower great little extras like a BBQ and log fire. Hosts were responsive and respective of privacy, defiantly will stay again.

Such a gorgeous place tucked into the hills. Even though you are so close to town, you feel like you are miles away in a quiet little valley. Francis and Eneritz are super lovely and have great advice for the best things to do and places to eat around the area. Eneritz’s home made quince paste is to die for - must try 😍

Fantastic find in a beautiful area with everything you could need - shop down the road, pub with good food few minute walk, shuttle to the tongariro crossing basically on your doorstep! Perfect for the crossing - soak your muscles in the hot tub after. Brilliant, will definitely come back!

It was an absolute joy to be hosted at Mark's whare. It's a home away from home, well taken care of and well loved, but also very beautiful. The Decor is stunning and it was so easeful to stay for a week. We also forgot an important belonging, Mark went out of his way to make sure it was returned. Just a straight up good host.

Opening the front door you’re faced with a wonderful feeling of peace and relaxation, of carefully chosen pieces of welcoming furniture, books to delve into, and all you need for a family get together. We were here for a family birthday, meeting up across the Tasman and Bookdale was the charming setting. Tess has created something special here for those appreciating stylish interiors, and all in a convenient location with great views of the Whanganui River and town. Loved it all!

We booked this accommodation the night before. The place felt like home. Amazing views, unfortunately because of the horrible weather there was a lot of fog but we’re already planning to go back. Would recommend this place for a family or just a getaway for a group of friends. This place would be perfect for 4 people. The place is part of a gated community so we felt safe as well. Parking and checking in was easy. 10/10 recommend!

Pamela's place was beautifully set up, we had an amazing time staying here. We enjoyed cooking on the barbecue, wandering down to the river and admiring the extensive veggie garden! Pamela was lovely and very responsive, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.
