“Jesca's home was beautiful and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed the scenic hiking trails just outside the home, the views from the back windows, the small quiet town, the country drive getting there, and the great Farm House grocery store and tea room. This is a stop I recommend if you are looking for special! Enjoyed our stay!!”
If you need a peaceful totally independent retreat look no further. The Loft has as modern, fresh living room and double bedroom with ensuite bathroom in a former barn loft. There are extensive views with windows to north, south, east and west and a pleasant outdoor area with seating and car parking. It is adjacent to the owners home overlooking Malhamdale with delightful walks from the door. Local pub 1 mile and farm shop 2 miles.
“Wendy’s Loft is a fabulous little place which offers peace and quiet, yet easy access to local attractions and walks right on your doorstep. We never used our car whilst we were there as we could access a number of walking paths directly from The Loft. The Loft is spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and fully equipped with everything you need when staying home from home. Th village of Kirby Malham is 1m walk away and hosts the Victoria pub which serves lovely homemade food at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.”
Hawkswick Cote Farm is in the beautiful Littondale arguably one of the finest yorkshire Dales.
“This is a nicely appointed cottage annex in a farmyard cluster of cottages and converted barns. It’s wonderfully quiet and remote. You can set off on a good range of walks directly from the cottage. Or there is a lovely sun trap back garden to sit in and read in peace and privacy. We loved staying here just after lockdown. It made a perfect get away from the city with some good pubs a few miles away. The Queens Arms is particularly good! The cottage has some lovely touches and we were happy to cook there a few nights and eat out others. I would happily recommend this place for a couple who want a quiet retreat and good walking.”
