Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Maleme

Lovely peaceful house in quiet alley but in the centre of the old town. We loved the beautiful artwork, comfortable bed and general ambience. The upstairs bathroom is rather small but this was not a problem for us. Our host was very responsive and helpful, giving us lots of local knowledge and recommendations. We recommend this lovely house!

What a wonderful house ❤️ we felt at home. Beautiful quiet place with large terrace for dining at sunrise and sunset. In the middle of nature. Super comfortable beds and everything you need in the house. It has become our favorite place in Crete. Thanks very much Ioanna.

Niki is a lovely host, happy to help with anything and very friendly. The home is nice, cool during the hot days and in good location near the beach and supermarket. I would stay there again!

We spent 10 days at the property with our 2 1/2 year old son. The house is well equipped and really offers everything to have a nice time in the area. The village is secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still offers 2 nice taverns and cafes; and in a few minutes' drive you are on the beach or in one of the numerous taverns in a neighboring village. Nektaria was a great host, always available. We'd love to come back!

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

Mike is super nice and the flat is very comfortable and sourounded by mountains. Is really nice for hiking trips as well as relaxing and sitting on the terrace and having dinner. There are 4 taverns/ hotel kitchens in omalus, which are ok tastewise. But you can also cook at Mike apartment. His raki is tasty and the olive oil also very nice. Also it’s just 5min from the Samaria entrance by car.

This place was just as described and Katrina was the most friendly and generous person bringing many lovely homemade things for us. I would certainly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of real Crete.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for an autumn vacation and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and everything functioned as expected. One thing to note is that the hosts live on-site, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but their presence was definitely felt compared to other Airbnbs we stayed in so far. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-kept, dog friendly space with hosts who are nearby to assist.

It was all great, absolutely clean and the apartment spacious and comfortable! In a very nice spot by the beach and the hosts absolutely friendly and kind, I highly recommend it!

A lovely place in a cute village, surrounded by olive trees. A gorgeous view from the terrace. The house manager communicates very well, with fast, clear and friendly instructions. Special mention: the owners Elena and Michail also run a delightful restaurant 30min away. It is well worth going, for the food, the view, but most importantly to meet with them! They have been sooo incredibly welcoming and it was a treat to have a chat with them both. I definitely recommend

Great apartment in a quiet area, but a minute's walk from the sea and an area with many bars overlooking the sea. 10 minutes from the old town. Apartment with small terrace with excellent sea view (2 chairs and coffee table), pleasant especially at night and in the morning. Another very large covered terrace with a tent, which is also equipped with a barbecue. The apartment looks good with all comforts. Practical and pleasant stay. Host punctual in responses and suggestions. Very appreciated. Car parking available on the neighboring streets but always a maximum of 2 minutes from the apartment. We 4 of us (two adults and two children) had a great time taking advantage of the large space available.

We enjoyed our stay with Georg very much. Especially the garden was so great for our two boys with plenty of space to run around and great play opportunities. We were spoiled with delicious olive oil and freshly picked salad and were able to snack on pomegranate from the garden. Communication with Georg was always flawless and fast. He and his family were always so helpful and so friendly. We were even allowed to watch the olive harvest and learned so much about it from Georg. The surroundings are great for various excursions. We highly recommend George's place.

We stayed for 9 days in a beautiful apartment, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is about 10/15 minutes from the center of Chania, in front of a supermarket and in our opinion, is at the right distance from all the most beautiful beaches (1.45h max). The order, cleanliness and equipment of the apartment allowed us to enjoy our stay to the fullest! I would like to give a special thank you to the very nice Chrysoula. She was very kind, sociable and available to answer all our questions. She was the first local we met and it really warmed our hearts to meet her…thank you! We will definitely stay again. Sara and Giovanni are exquisite! Beautiful stay, fantastic area. We had a great time, the restaurant is a gem, you can eat divinely. In the evening, by the pool, sitting at the restaurant, there is a magical atmosphere, a peace for the senses. Our little girl fell in love with the pool! We'll definitely be back

We had a lovely stay. Everything worked well and location was really nice. There are nice beaches nearby and restaurants and grocery stores are also close. The area is quiet and nice. The balcony is really nice and has a great view. It is larger than the pictures indicate, and we spend both morning and evening sitting there and enjoying the view. Katerina was really flexible and friendly when we arrived. The place was easy to find. We had rented a car, and the parking worked nicely.

We enjoyed the stay very much and everything was wonderful! The pool was clean and nice and cool! Requests were responded to immediately and you are only 20 minutes away from the most amazing beaches! Since the accommodation is remote but close to a busy road, you should take Oropax with you if you want to sleep without air conditioning ( which all work perfectly) and may be sensitive to noise. All in all it was a wonderful house with everything you need! Many thanks for everything :)

We had a wonderful time at the house. Very relaxing and an ideal place to explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed and we lacked nothing. Something to nibble on and drink was also already available. The sea is just a stone's throw away. Shopping on foot, visiting a restaurant and it even has a bus stop. In other words, you could also travel without a rental car. Ideal for travelers wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent Many thanks to Hannah and the homeowner.

A wonderful place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway! the hosts were super friendly and responsive, they provided more than expected with regards to amenities and our stay even more effortless!

This villa is in a really quiet and peaceful area. We would highly recommend a trip to Marmitas taverna nearby. Beautiful views from the balconies and everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!
