The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

A great house for a family birthday celebration . The open plan living area with huge windows was perfect . Quite a hill to walk up from town but that is true of most houses in Salcombe!! We had a wonderful few days there over New Year

We had a fantastic stay at Selina an her families beautiful Airbnb. Hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The property is stunning, beautiful location. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our one night stay at The Pound House. Beautiful cottage in very peaceful surroundings, Jacquie gave us loads of information before we arrived about places to go, eat and also which narrow lanes to avoid. Thanks for having us!

We actually only rented the property for a day to do a photoshoot for our business, so we didn't stay over. However we wished we were. It's a really cool house, much bigger than I was expecting. Would be a great place to stay with friends or family, plenty of space to gather and hang out. It was actually pouring with rain when we were there but the house felt really cosy and airy and spacious. I felt like if we were on holiday and it was raining it would be a great house to hang out in not cramped and stuck inside.

The location of the house was perfect for us in the town centre. We walked everywhere and enjoyed access to local shops and restaurants including the town market, car boot and classic car meet-up. The house was exactly as described. Light and airy. Very nicely decorated and clean. Bed was super comfy. I would’ve enjoyed lighting the wood burner if the weather hadn’t been so nice. I stayed with my partner and our dog and we had an absolutely lovely time. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Sandie, Johnny and Flynn

This is an excellent location just as described with wonderful views over the sea. The house was immaculate and the kitchen equipment was all we could have wanted. Hazel responded rapidly to queries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending it to others.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Prawn Cottage. We had family who travelled down from 7+ hours away whilst we were already staying locally at a different Airbnb, before we moved to this one. Charlotte allowed us to check in earlier which made the transition easier. The cottage was in a fantastic location, close to beaches, restaurants/pubs and a small shop nearby. We enjoyed using the BBQ, there was a wide selection of games; the cottage had everything we needed. We would have loved to stay for longer but hope to return again soon!

Had a lovely weekend at Lisa’s place - absolutely stunning views to wake up to. A fantastic base for exploring Salcombe and the surrounding area.

Great location for accessing the south west coast path & as a base for exploring south Devon . Well equipped & comfortable home which was very quiet & peaceful - we would definitely stay here again !

We have just spent the most wonderful long weekend at Steppes. It is the most wonderful house with an amazing view which was perfect for a big family get together. Coffee on the deck in the morning sunshine, looking at everything going on in the harbour and the view out to see was just incredible. Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful house.

The six of us and the dog had a fabulous stay. The property was in a perfect location very near the pubs and restaurants in Hope Cove which serve great food. The accommodation was very spacious. The lounge was very comfortable with plenty of seating. We could see the sea from the lounge window. The enclosed garden at the back was perfect for our cocker spaniel. We found the property very clean and nicely decorated in a ‘Devon’ style which was lovely. Thank you.

Upstairs bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Very homely. Large table meant we could eat as big family. Excellent dishwasher and washing machine. Freezer was a bit small. Proximity to beaches and coffee shop and pub superb. Great place for family meetups. Natalie's communication was great and very helpful.

Our stay at Louise’s property was really lovely, what an amazing property & beautiful location. Would definitely recommend.

The house was in a great location for seeing the local area and the wider Torbay area, we used the buses, steam train and ferries and never moved the car once. It was a spacious, clean and wonderful house and we would thoroughly recommend.

Chantry Barn was an amazing find and it will leave a lasting feel good impression on me, so much so I really hope we will be able to come back. The accommodation is beautiful,I thought it was better than the pictures! It was spotlessly clean. Both Nick & Jo are super hosts, we were made to feel very welcome. We had a slight problem with the t v, which was sorted out. Communication is excellent. My daughter got to feed a lamb and we borrowed a bucket and spade from there 'shop'. where you have a selection of things to borrow. I honesty couldn't recommend Chantry Barn highly enough!

Just had one of the most brilliant stays at "Little Spindles". A fantastic eco-built property situated down a quite lane with everything needed for a peaceful, relaxing time away. Inside, the property is just amazing; so clean and tidy, with top quality fixture and fittings and tastefully decorated. The garden area is mainly laid to lawn and is large and private, thanks to surrounding trees and shrubs. There's a little stream at the bottom of the garden and we were fortunate enough to see a kingfisher during our stay! It's close to the centre of Ashburton (lovely little place!) and ideally positioned for a wide variety of sightseeing and walking trips. Poppy is a great host and is always on hand to offer help when needed. We look forward to a return visit!

We had a lovely two night stay with our 4 month old son. It was just as described and there was a very thoughtful hamper of goodies which we enjoyed! Very clean, with a great kitchen - we really appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer with our little one as he was running out of outfits. It is in a great location which we made the most of for our little getaway, within easy reach of Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands, local farm shops, boutiques and of course lots of choice for fish & chips. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Really well equipped kitchen Luxury bedding and towels Excellent tech - Wi-fi, Bluetooth speaker and tv Relaxing view over the harbour Fantastic cafes and restaurants just down the hill. Gorgeous beach a 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk and a tranquil, secluded beach across the river by an every 10 minute ferry. Easy paddle board and kayak launching in the harbour - a 10 minute walk. Suits active families or quieter groups.
