Excellent stay in a beautiful neighbourhood. Only thing to flag is that it is a roof top apartment - expect a lot of stairs. Worth the climb though!

The apartment is quiet and easy to get into the city centre by metro or Uber. There are several restaurants and takeaways within an easy walk. There is a better supermarket than the Coop a short walk away.

Merci à Roger pour ses précieux conseils avant notre arrivée. Hôte très prévenant qui met tout en oeuvre pour le confort de ses "voyageurs ". Appartement fonctionnel, propre et très bien placé. Nous avons effectué un excellent séjour à Stockholm avec 3 de nos enfants (ados et jeune adulte). Nous recommandons son hébergement.

Great place in a wonderful location, only 15 min from Stockholm but so lovely that you might spend most time rather in the local area!!! Also great communication with Mikaela. We would recommend this place to everyone!

This apartment is perfectly situated in Gamla Stan near a metro stop, restaurants and shops. After seeing many of the areas of Stockholm, I’m so glad we opted for Gamla Stan. It is perfect for sightseeing and wandering the cobblestone streets and alleys without cars. There’s also an espresso maker that we didn’t see in the pictures but we thoroughly enjoyed using.

Mikael's place was great for our family. We had 3 adults and 2 children ages 3 and 5. The kids liked their room and slept great. Mikael recommended a nice pizza place in a tower at the top of the hill, and there was a great playground for the kids just on the other side. Parking was easy and the subway is super close for getting into Stockholm. The decor is very nice. Our kids are thankfully generally good at listening, but will want to be mindful if you're bringing any kids that might have difficulty resisting touching a cool vase or wine bottle. Both bathrooms are quite nice and I used the deep tub to give the kids a bath. As an American, I particularly liked that the tub nozzle doesn't project into the tub to bonk your head on. The whole house speaker system is a nice touch. Mikael also left coffee beans we could use, and generally made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Het appartement is ruim en gunstig gelegen om naar Stockholm centrum te komen. Station Alvik ligt op 5 minuten lopen en van daar uit ben je in 15 minuten in Stockholm centrum. Supermarkt dichtbij (7 minuten lopen). Ontbijt- en koffietentjes nabij Alvik station (5 minuten). Ook goede uitvalsbasis voor parken en natuurgebieden te westen en noorden van Stockholm. Koffie, thee en andere dingen voorhanden om het je comfortabel te maken.

Jarmo ist ein super Gastgeber und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Sein Appartement über den Dächern von Södertälje ist sehr modern und stylisch ausgestattet und definitiv einen Besuch wert. Wir danken Jarmo für einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt.

Helena was incredibly kind & helpful from before arrival. Helena likes to meet guests in person. We were driving in from CPH & she immediately agreed to extend the checkin time later than listed to accommodate us. On the way to Stockholm, we had car trouble & our arrival was delayed until 4AM! Some hosts get very upset by this; we offered to find a hotel in the city for our first night to not further inconvenience her, but she had such compassion & made sure we were able check-in at 4AM. Respect this kind soul with good communication! Also, I accidentally pulled the door off her dryer & she was understanding. Apartment is a peaceful haven & it's so worth it to reward yourself with a large, beautiful bathroom for a few nights when you have been traveling on a budget. Great towels. Bedroom balcony is lovely. Wonderful art/fresh flowers/champagne greeted us. Parking signs complex & confusing for Americans, look up a website that explains the meanings, you'll be fine. Review for AirBnB: Nathalie was the best host imaginable. Her apartment was everything you could ask for. It was well stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, a small library of fascinating books for both adults and children, and plenty of toys/games for the little ones. The location was unbeatable — steps away from shops, restaurants/bars, and a major metro stop. All on a pedestrian-friendly street. There is no better “home base” for a trip to Stockholm. Bonus points for all instructions being available in English to help visitors from other countries manage their stay even more easily. Even more importantly, Nathalie was extremely accommodating and helpful when a member of our travel party, a pregnant woman, fell ill hours before our departure flight. Nathalie received our frantic calls in the middle of the night, extended our stay, and put us in touch with a doctor. All while maintaining a pleasant and calming attitude. It honestly felt like we were in touch with a longtime friend

We had the best time at Jenny’s beautiful flat which is full of fresh air and sunlight, in a neighborhood that’s easily walkable to and from everywhere we wanted to go in Stockholm. Also enjoyed working from there with two floors which made it easy for us both to do calls.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Nicos Wohnung. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass sie gut gelegen ist, um Stockholm zu erkunden. Die Wohnung liegt nahe an mehreren Bushaltestellen! Nico und Gustav waren sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wenn wir wieder nach Stockholm kommen sollten, würden wir gerne wieder in diese Wohnung zurück. Volle 5 Sterne!

Et herlig herskapelig sted. Vi fant Jan og Eva sitt sted litt tilfeldig på samme fredag vi ønsket å sjekke inn. Jan og Eva var ikke hjemme selv, men hev seg rundt og ordnet innsjekk med naboen. Loftet er stort og luftig, alt virker nyoppusset i gammel stil og alt er så rent og pent. Vi lånte badebryggen til hovedhuset og nøt både frokost og kvelds ved vannet. Selve gården er utrolig velstelt og vakker. Vi følte oss som luksusdyr hele helgen. Vi kan varmt anbefale Jan og Eva sitt sted. Selv om vi ikke traff vertskapet selv, fikk vi god hjelp av de vennlige naboene. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!
