Having stayed at Osaka, Furano, and Asahikawa this trip, it was a relief stepping into Yamada and Maya's home. Every item was labelled with great care, and there was ample space for my 7 year old boy and 1.5 year old toddler. The house was designed with careful planning - from the living area to the bedrooms, the washroom and bathroom. It was easy to move around from a functional point of view. After travelling for a week with 2 young kids, we felt so comfortable knowing every corner was thoughtfully planned out. They even prepared a toddler stool, and set up a toy area in one of the bedrooms! I'm comforted by their hospitality in this home away from home. We rested well, and would book this place again if we were to return.

Great place with a free bus 200ft away in the winter that takes you to the King Gondola. You can also walk to the Ace family lift in about 10 minutes. The place is very modern and nice. The walls however are thin and you can hear the neighbors nextdoor but the noise policy is strict.

Overall, it's nice, but some items in the house are too old

The host has been very gracious and tremendously accommodating to our needs. They've open up a very spacious and cosy place to me and my friend. We stayed there, while driving to Rusutsu everyday for our snowboarding. It was a short 20 mins drive. We even managed to drive to Niseko (about 45 mins) away for one of the days. Because we're from a tropical country, on one of the days we briefly commented that it was extra cold . Almost immediately, they brought an extra portable heater for us to keep us toasty. For that we're very grateful. They've gone out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you very much for opening up your home to us!

great place to stay with easy access to lake and mountains

The Cottage was a great place to stay just outside of Otaru. The hosts went above and beyond purchasing us train tickets, snacks, shoveling the new snowfall, and driving us to the train station. The hosts were very communicative through the Airbnb app and we had no issues with not speaking the same language. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay for the ski season! The living space was styled as a nice mix of a Japanese-style and a western-style house, with beds in some rooms and tatami mats+futons in the others. The Japanese style bathroom with a hot tub was a nice touch for winter, and the washer and dryer came in very handy for our stay. There was ample common area for our group to gather and kitchen had all the appliances we needed for our stay. The location is close to the Izumikyo station where a many of the shuttle routes make a stop, which makes it pretty easy to access both Hirafu and Hanazono, and it's a pretty short walk to central Hirafu. It's also possible to walk to and from the gondolas, but the 30 min walk with ski gear on snowy/icy roads makes it more of a last resort. Hayato was very communicative and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, as well as advice for getting to the house. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend staying here on a ski trip in Niseko!

Cozy place to stay in

I really, really like it. It is a quiet residential area, so it is very suitable for blending into the daily life of locals during your trip. It's not far from downtown Sapporo, and it's the best location for a walk to Hokkaido University. There is also a large grocery store nearby, so it's really nice. It is more convenient because they pick you up if the schedule is right at check-in & check-out

Nihonvita san & Luliia were great host! The moment you step into the house, you feel at home. They provided more than the basic essentials we need from cooking to toiletries. Their service exceeded my expectation and is the best Airbnb throughout my stay in Hokkaido!

A very good experience in Hokkaido!

As a couple, we had an amazing and cozy stay. The host was super friendly and welcoming, and the room was really spacious and had all the fancy stuff you could want. It was so comfortable to stay on level 33 and have a beautiful view of the city.

The unit/apartment is very safe. It was near the train station,supermarket,7/11. The space is clean and big. The toilet and shower area is clean. I feel home during my stay .Host is responsive everytime I have question.

cost performance can't be beat! though it's far from the center of town, the bus stop is less than 5 minutes away, and it's an easy train ride after that. huge place including the biggest kitchen I've seen in Japan, lol. very comfortable for a long term stay. host was very responsive to the few minor issues and questions that we had and went above and beyond to rectify them. would absolutely stay here again.

I am a frequent traveller and stayed in plenty of Airbnbs. This is the best Airbnb that I have stayed in Japan. The condition is even better than the photos, and place is pristine clean and the facilities inside is top class (massage chair, tv with Netflix, kitchen that is well equipped, the heating is great, and the washrooms are perfect). It has the most amazing view, free parking right outside the door, the neighbourhood is safe. It is within a 5 min drive to the high street of Otaru, and within a 15 min walk to nearby restaurants and city center. For people with elderly please note there's a walk up a somewhat steep slope to return home, but if you are driving you can park right outside the door.

It was helpful to have a lot of facilities rather than the information listed in a good way.

Starchase is a great Chalet a short drive from the base of the Annapuri resort (and is even walkable if you're up for the 15-20 minutes it takes). The house is well set up for a larger group, has a well stocked kitchen with all the utensils, flatware, and tools you need to cook, and is really well maintained and kept by the H2 team. I found the H2 team very helpful and responsive to messages. I shipped skis ahead of me, and they were waiting for me in the Chalet when I arrived, and the team helped hold skis for a Courier to pick them up when I departed. Big thanks for helping take care of all of that! If you're looking for a great place to stay with a large family, or with friends, I absolutely recommend Starchase, and will certainly be back!
