Beachfront vacation rentals in Makarska

Un endroit fabuleux où nous avons séjourné au calme en profitant d’une magnifique vue sur la mer et la montagne. La maison et le jardin sont très bien équipés et décorés. Les hôtes ont toujours été très réactifs et amicaux. C’est une gros coup de cœur que je recommande fortement!

Huoneisto on juuri kuin kuvissa, kaunis ja hyvin toimiva pariskunnalle. Varaamiseni jälkeen merinäköalan eteen oli rakennettu talo, mutta meitä se ei haitannut. Joka paikkaan lyhyt matka, mutta nousu rannalta/ keskustasta ylös asunnolle kannattaa huomioida jos olet jalan liikenteessä. Majan kanssa oli helppo yhteydenpito ja hän myös antoi meille paljon paikallisia vinkkejä. Erittäin miellyttävä kokemus!

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

We waren voor de 2e keer in Brela-relax. Het is ons wederom geweldig bevallen. Het appartement is heerlijk en de host is zeer makkelijk te bereiken voor allerlei vragen. De omgeving is zo mooi en allerlei voorzieningen zoals de supermarkt, zijn dichtbij. Ook de strandjes en restaurantjes zijn beloopbaar. Maar ook bij het zwembad is het heerlijk vertoeven. Brela relax is een aanrader.

We loved our stay on Hvar at Anamarija’s apartment. It is a relaxing, stylish space and the views from the balcony are beautiful. We really appreciated the extra treats that were left in the fridge and the warm welcome. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Hvar.

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt in Mirkas schönem Appartment. Es war einfach nur ein Glück, direkt am Wasser mit so einem traumhaften Ausblick zu wohnen. Ausserdem waren Ausstattung, Kommunikation und Sauberkeit top - jederzeit wieder und vielen Dank an Mirka.

Fabulous beach house vibe. We absolutely loved staying right on the beach - beautiful sunlit mornings, spectacular sunsets and easy to swim (even if the water was a little chilly!). Short easy walk into the chilled out village of Drasnice with relaxing seafront cafes. Excellent location on the Makarska Riviera with easy access (by car) to amazing beaches like Punta Rata at Brela. If you fancy a bit of adventure, it's also convenient for the Bikovo National Park with its dramatic Skywalk. Emi was a very kind host, giving us homemade bread and cookies and even a souvenir gift at the end of our stay. Her son Rato was also very helpful and quickly responded to our request for more towels. The house is a cosy beach cottage, quite rustic but very cute. The kitchen is small and doesn't have an oven so it challenged our cooking skills a bIt but we got on fine and there is a dishwasher, washing machine and great shower.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Wohnung. Der Ausblick und die Umgebung sind einfach wunderschön. Am letzten Tag konnten wir noch Delphine in der Bucht beobachten. Die Wohnung war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Die Menschen waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir kommen supergerne wieder!

Je suis venu passer quelques jours avec ma mère dans le Logement de Tafra, c’était un super Airbnb avec une vue incroyable. La piscine et le spa sont un vrai plus. Le logement était très propre avec tout ce qu’il faut dedans Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner.

The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

This apartment was perfect, one of nicest I’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, spotless and with the most incredible setting! Elma and Nives were both super helpful and responsive! The pool was also spotless and perfect for cooling off! The area is stunning! We hiked in the mountains behind and swam in the most beautiful sea I’ve ever seen! Stomarica was blissfully quiet and a lovely walk along the promenade to Brela! Cannot recommend enough!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Slavimir. L'appartement était super bien équipé, les lits confortables et tout était propre. L'attention des boissons fraîches étaient les bienvenus. Une superbe vue autant du balcon que de la piscine. Un barbecue à disposition, un garage fermé et privé. Un excellent séjour. Merci beaucoup Slavimir

Ons verblijf bij Vlado was echt geweldig en voldeed (en oversteeg) aan al onze verwachtigen! bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en rondgeleid door het appartement. tot onze blije verbazing was het geen gedeelt zwembad maar prive alleen voor ons, wat een luxe! elek dag werd er gecheckt of we nog wat nodig hadden en of we het naar ons zin hadden. Ook werden we meermaals verwend met lekkere zelfgemaakt gebak, en verse druiven uit de tuin. Bij vertrek ook weer in de watten gelegd en 2 kadotjes voor thuis meegekregen. makarska is ook echt een geweldig mooie plaats met genoeg te doen en volop lekker eten. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug! Everything about the house was great. However all local restaurants and bars that were walkable were shut until next year which we didn't expect. Also although their websites say the are open many supermarkets were shut on the Sunday - had we known in advance we would have bought more on the Saturday. These things aside - the house was lovely, clean and everything we wanted.

Olimme kymmenen hengen seurueella lomalla, johon kuului 5 aikuista ja 5 lasta. Asunto oli siisti ja siinä oli riittävästi tilaa meille kaikille. Suuri terassialue, uima-allas ja poreamme olivat kovassa käytössä. Asunto sijaitsee rinteessä mutta alas kylään oli sopiva noin 15 minuutin kävelymatka. Lämmin suositus kohteesta mikäli olet menossa Makarskaan!

We loved staying a bit out of the main town as the beaches were quieter and we really enjoyed the stroll into town along the sea front. We really enjoyed boat and ferry trips out along the coast and to the islands of Hvar and Korchula. Lots of opportunities for walkers and mountain bikers in the area. The flat was spotless and we loved the balcony, especially watching the sun come up over the mountains in the morning. Although we did not use it there was a lovely little garden and barbecue area that we were free to use. Marino and his mum were super hosts, we really appreciated pick up and drop off from the bus station. Thank you

Jozo was an excellent host and you can clearly see the love that he’s poured into Love Hvar’s penthouse. Every detail is thought of and takes advantage of the space perfectly. Additionally the space is spotless and well kept. It’s a great location and walkable to all of Hvar town. Thanks, Jozo for an amazing stay.

Rest in this house is super comfortable and cozy. Perfect place for family vacation with children. We are sure that we will return here next season.

Alles war perfekt und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet, mit einem fast privaten Strand vor dem Apartment. Würde ich nochmal buchen!

Das Haus ist wunderschön, der Garten wie auch die Lage am Strand. In der Saison ist sicher sehr Aktion an der schönen Promenade und es ist klar eine der gehobeneren Umgebungen. Das Haus mit den verschiedenen Wohnungen ist sehr schön restauriert, sehr sauber und mit viel Stil eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen!

Beautiful villa. Clean and well organised apartment. Spacy and with lovely view on west: beach and Adriatic Sea. Every day you can watch sunset directly from the beach just in front of villa or from your balcony. Every morning you can enjoy having breakfast with the sound of waves gently washing stones on the shore. Hosts are very kind and caring. You cannot see them here and there watching out and chatting with neighbours and guests. The place is directly at the promenade, on its calmer end. On the promenade you’ll find choice restaurants and bars to spend evenings.

This was an amazing stay! Exactly what I was looking for- private, peaceful and beautiful. The view was amazing from the room and then you go down to the private beach and its just serene. On the way down to the beach Damir let us feed the tortoises! Might be silly but that was definitely the highlight they are so cute. We really appreciate this experience and recommend everyone to come stay if you are looking for relaxation. I will warn though you should probably rent a car for this stay, its better so you can come and go as you please and not wait so long for public transportation. We also enjoyed driving around the mountains and seeing the Centina River Canyon and its not a bad drive to Split and other places!
