Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Mākaha

Charles Place was perfect for for my family. The outdoor space was amazing , we sat outside almost every day to enjoy the beautiful weather, view, and we loved the BBQ and fire pit to sit around. All bathrooms were stocked with stuff that you sometimes forget on vacation. The beds were very comfy. Kitchen was very modern. We loved the water filter attached to the sink this made it easy for us to get water at anytime. The space comes along with plenty of beach supplies for 8 people which was very nice. The local beach was only a 5 minute drive from the property. Not a lot of restaurants but honestly the drive around the island was beautiful which distracted you from the drive time. Charles is an amazing responsive host which made it very easy to express any questions we had . We will definitely stay again if we come back to this island. Thanks for the great stay !

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a really nice, cozy atmosphere. It’s tucked away in a private location, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. The beach is just a short drive away, which was a huge plus for us. The host, Emma, was incredibly communicative and friendly, always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway in Hawaii!

We had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s home in Makaha Valley! The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed—including thoughtful touches like toys for our baby, which made a big difference for our family. Melissa was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is peaceful and private, set within a secure gated community. It’s perfect for families with young children who are looking to relax and enjoy a slower pace. While most tourist attractions are about a 40-minute drive away, the setting more than makes up for it if you’re not planning to be out all day. Overall, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a quiet, kid-friendly getaway (away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas) on Oahu!

My family felt right at home it was a beautiful place with the most beautiful beach nearby to swim at. We had a 4 months old baby with us so it was wonderful to have a crib and change of sheets available for the baby along with beach toys such as snorkeling gear and boogie boards. Lots of towels available and comfortable beds. Thank you for such an amazing and comfortable stay.

Shirley's place had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to be for our vacation. Shirley was easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny home sized (as pictured) and it had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future!

We loved the place. It was a little confusing getting to the place since all the surrounding streets have the same name, but once we found it, it was amazing! Perfect for us!

This is a lovely home with a great view and a wonderful outdoor space to relax and soak up the beauty. Inside the beds are super comfy and everything is super clean with mini-splits in every room. Angelia is very responsive and friendly. We love Makaha because we come here for work in Waianae and this home offers a quiet and peaceful place to recharge.

Great place to stay with my family. Fit everyone perfectly loved the games and toys for the kids. The host was accommodating and responsive. Yes it’s a little far from main attractions but coming from a city where we commute everyday it was no big deal. Worth it in my opinion for the beautiful and private location. Gave us the opportunity to see another side to the island.

We had a great stay. The place is cozy, has a great view and amenities and supplies. It is in great location, close enough to everything in waikiki but away enough to not deal with the busy and louder areas. Great host who was very informative, accomodating, detailed and gave alot of recommendations.

Great location with easy access to the beach and food places. View was great. Loved sitting at the balcony for a drink in the evening!

Great location, walking distance to Turtle Bay Resort (restaurants, beach etc). Stayed here for 4 nights while we explored the North Shore. The condo was really nice, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would recommended.

It’s a wonderful place to stay in Honolulu, 10-15 minutes walk to go everywhere on the downtown. Was our home for the honeymoon and was perfect!!!! You can rent cars on the Lobby Floor and many restaurants around. I recommend this place 1000%!!! One more thing, the view is awesome 😎

Where to start!! Laynes place was absolutely for hours the pictures are a tease to the eyes for what was really there. Layne home was just the perfect peaceful space we needed with the most comfy bed we stayed at an Airbnb. While we were out everyday with adventures we made sure to make it back to watch the perfect sunset everyday. Parking was easy ; we used the marina behind the building and the area had so much to do and places to eat, our fav was the sushi and Indian restaurant across the street. Layne was so easy to communicate and never delayed with her recommendations etc. Oahu definitely stole Emmy heart and Layne place was the cherry on top, will definitely be back :)

Lia was a wonderful host and very helpful, location was very clean with modern furnishings and great views from both balconies. We’d love to stay again if we visit in the future.

Amazing stay. Place was super clean, beautiful view, comfy bed and good AC. The stay was in the heart of Waikīkī and was walking distance everywhere. The balcony was the perfect touch! Will be staying here again!

Great location within the complex. Our daughter enjoyed seeing who was in the pool from the unit so she could go down and meet friends. Cross breeze nice as AC wasn't needed most of time. The only issue I had was the tub faucet to convert to shower...it's invisible and tool about 5 mins to figure it out (it's literally the top of the faucet that can be pulled up to enable the shower valve).

We enjoyed our stay at Pua Moana. It is the perfect size for our small family. The unit is beautifully maintained, clean, and well stocked. We were able to walk to the beach and the Ritz. Scott takes pride in maintaining the unit and cares for his guests. He gave us a quick check-in orientation and tips/updates on things happening while we stayed. We will defiantly consider another stay at Pua Moana.

Annie’s place was great! It was cozy and close to everything in Waikīkī. We really appreciated the small touches like having a balcony to enjoy our meals on, the small kitchen, and beach supplies. Communication and check in were seamless. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Andrew’s place was great! Nice and clean, very close to beach and major shopping centres like the international marketplace. Having a free parking spot is such a great asset to have in the Waikiki area. Andrew has been great with communication from the moment we booked! Thank you so much Andrew! We would definitely stay again.

This place has the perfect view, very clean and if you want to cook it has everything you need. The first bedroom was very hot and is only mid May, we use the bed in the living area and kept the door open and the three fans provided and it was ok to sleep at night but if you have to give one of the fans to the other bedroom it may get to hot. I don’t know how it will be during July and August. The bathroom is very small so if you are a big guy keep that in mind. The bed is very soft so also think about that. There are chairs and some snorkeling equipment but we didn’t used them.

Litan was a great host and responsive. The townhouse was in a good Northshore location with a beach close by. it was perfect for 4 of us. The provided beach chairs, cooler, towels, and umbrella were nice amenities too. thanks again! Eric
