Vacation rentals in Majitar

We had a 3 night stay at Sanjay's place and though it was pretty warm at Kalimpong, the house was cool, covered with greenery all around. If you like places which are away from the hustle and bustle, tucked within greenery, then this is the place to go. Food was homely and delicious. My 10 year old son was busy througout the stay playing in the adjoining areas in the property. We were travelling with old parents and my wife was recovering from a fractured foot so when we navigated through the flight of stairs to reach to our cottage, they did not seem happy. But all of that was gone the next days as they enjoyed all the walk they could get amidst the purity of nature. Sanjay and his staff are super responsive and always there with a smile. So in short, if you are looking at this property and reading my review, my suggestion would be to go ahead and book.

I had wonderful stay at Tashi’s place. The location is perfect for exploring and walking distance to attractions - Restaurants, Bars, Pharmacies and Groceries you name it. The apartment itself is well equipped, very clean and spacious. I specially, enjoyed the view from the kitchen’s window. The listing is accurate as it gets, making my trip and stay in Gangtok a memorable one.

We had a peaceful and comfortable stay at this 4BHK. The place was quiet and perfect for a relaxing trip. A special mention to Sujika and Mamta, who cooked delicious food for us and were incredibly helpful with local recommendations. During our stay, my mom fell sick, and they took great care of her, ensuring she had the right food and medicines on time. Ashish, the host, was also amazing—he helped us with local sightseeing and travel since he had his own vehicle, making our trip much smoother. The only thing to note is that the washrooms in two rooms were quite small, which might be an issue if you’re very tall. But overall, it was a great stay with warm hospitality. Would definitely recommend it!

If you like to spend your vacation away from the city's hustle and bustle and like to be in the nature lap where birds sound will give you a morning alarm, then this is the perfect place for you. The host was very helpful. Shreya's brother Suraj and his wife were there. When we reached the place, they served us an awesome homemade lunch and tea and then gave us a nature walk around the property. Their very friendly dog was a special attraction for our daughter. Suraj sir has even explained how they pluck tea leaves and dry them to make tea to our daughter. Even on the day of check out, we had to leave early morning, around 6 am, but Suraj sir was kind that he even brought tea on that morning without even mentioning it. It really felt like home. We even saw the sunrise from our cottage view was literally awesome. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing is you need to hike a little to enter the cottage, but they will definitely help you with your luggage.

Wonderful and pleasant stay at the place. The place is quite near to MG Marg. you will get sharing taxis. The stay was really very nice. It felt like we were at home. You have all amenities present and the guys present at reception are really very friendly and soft spoken. They are always available at your service and help. Altogether it was a great experience. We would surely love to stay at Vivek's place if in future we again plan to visit Gangtok and I would surely recommend this place for families also.

Bob's bnb was great! We enjoyed our stay, the apartment is equipped with everything we needed and was spacious enough for our family - the view from sitout was really great too - had many a coffee there! There is a grocery store very close to the apartment. They also provide breakfast on request for a reasonable price. The poori, sabzi and chutney we had were delicious. Would highly recommend the place!

What can I say about our stay other than AMAZING. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place perfect place for you. The BNB is located on th slope and is a bit of a trek while entering. Amazing ambience specially the bathroom. Definitely need to mention our friendly host and his cute family. His food was delicious and he was very friendly. Special mention is his cute little daughter who acted as our guide and never let us feel bored. if you are looking for a place to relax and wind down.. this is perfect

It is a lovely, spacious accommodation that is perfect for a family of four to six. The largest window in the house has a lovely mountain view with seating set up so it can be enjoyed over morning coffee or evening drinks. Very comfortable stay and made convenient by the helpful staff.

The property is beautiful and rooms are well planned and clean . we stayed in attic and had the best view of kalimpong. overall a beautiful property and nice people
