The king bedroom is on the ground floor with views of Thurso Bay and Dunnet Head. Within the room are fitted wardrobes, charging points and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. A continental breakfast is served in the room. Our home is situated above Scrabster harbour, it is a 15-20 minute walk to catch the Orkney ferry. Alternatively it is a great place to stay if you're working in the area or exploring Caithness. If you're passing through on the NC500 this is ideal as a stopping point

Her sturdy two feet thick stone walls are a few hundred years old. She on the inside has a brand new facelift, and all the comforts we enjoy. The views here are stunning and will take your breath away like it does mine . A rare place indeed where the fresh water of the salmon filled Forss river flows into the sea. Take a stroll if you can and enjoy.

All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
