We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the bungalow and the proximity to the beach. The beach is in a park preserve, so there are only other people enjoying the beach, no vendors, no chairs and umbrellas, and no noise. The bungalow was spotless and had great amenities in the kitchen like a rice cooker, coffee pot, and hot plate. The host also kindly supplies coffee, basic spices, crackers, and water. Communication was easy and they are very nice.

We finally had the opportunity to stay at Lyn’s. We’ve been here for several years but never an opportunity to stay as it’s rarely available. Lyn’s place is perfect for small families. Spacious, free of clutter, clean & as described. The complex was quiet due to the low season hence pricing was value for money. What we loved most was the small functional touches at Lyn’s that made a lot of difference such as umbrella, table cloths, laundry baskets, laundry detergents, kitchen paper towels and mid stay cleaning service. I’d definitely recommend Lyn’s if you’re looking at staying in Mai Khao. Just know that unless you’re staying in somewhere like Patong where it’s walkable; a rented vehicle will help in terms of mobility.
