Monthly Rentals in Mahopac

Amy and Kevin were absolutely wonderful! It was so nice to get out of the city and stay in such a beautiful cabin. It has a rustic feel while having all of the amenities and conveniences that you are looking for. Amy and Kevin are also such wonderful people they made sure that the trip was easy and fun and responded immediately anytime I had a question. The area was private but also close to a bunch of great restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Michael was a fantastic host and the house was great for our needs. We were 4 families including 6 kids aged 5-10. There were plenty of bedrooms and ample seating areas. The kids enjoyed the arcade & “tower room,” and absolutely loved petting & feeding the horses! The grill and kitchen were well equipped and we all enjoyed the yards and beautiful view. We had some issues with the heater, but Mike was very responsive and helpful. The house isn’t luxurious, but is well situated and comfortable. It was the perfect setting for a long weekend with friends!

This is a gorgeous guest house with a lovely view of the lake. Didn’t get to try the sauna but appreciated that it was available all hours. Shower and bed were nice! We traveled here on bike while going from Poughkeepsie to NYC on the Empire State Trail. The house is close to the trail and they gave us good bike directions. Great place to stop to split up the 100 mile journey - right in the middle!

We’ve stayed at Filiz’s place a few times and it’s perfect! Quiet, clean, and easy to get to where we needed to be. We’ll be back!
