The place the big windows and the views were amazing! It’s around a 10-15 min walk to the markets, it’s a very secluded town. Overall great experience, there’s activities by the beach which added onto it too. Just to let you know- there’s no lifts in the building, so if you’re carrying suitcases you’ll have to take them up 2 flights of stairs

The location is excellent, you have the beach a hop, literal and very good atmosphere turning the corner. The photos do not do justice to the apartment, in person they want. We were very comfortable, and the hosts were attentive to our needs. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for the second time and again satisfied, the host is very nice, the apartment is great prepared and matches the photos. We'd love to come back.

A wonderful host in a stunning place...

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

third visit to this apartment and will be returning soon. Location is fantastic. Linen is spotless, as Is the crockery and cutlery. Kitchen well equipped. Isabel is the perfect host, response time excellent if you need to ask anything, nothing too much trouble.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. The nearby “strip” gets a little noisy in the evening but nothing serious. Everything you could possibly need for a stay in Portimao. And Catia was very responsive whenever I had a question.

Great value, beautiful property 10 minutes on foot away from the beach, and lovely host ! We will be back :)

Gorgeous beach just a little walk away. Town is very nice w beach bars etc. house has awesome views. Views when in pool are not good due to wall. Suggest to maybe put up acrylic wall? Host was super responsive. We loved our stay at this very large house!

the apartment was superb, location, cleanliness and ease of checkng in were brilliant only thing that could have made it even better would have been having air con in the bedroom. due to being a female of a certain age lol i would highly recommend this apartment and hopefully we will be returning

Had a great week long break, the Air BnB was perfect and the pool is much bigger in person then in the photos.

Splendid apartment with a beautiful sea view. Residence of very good standing. Location very close to the sea and restaurants. A little noisy on the terrace, because of a busy street, that's the only negative, everything else is at its best! Easy access.

This house was unbelievable! The location was gorgeous and perfect. It felt private but also accessible and we LOVED the little town. The amenities and entire home were a dream and made our vacation perfect. The only thing better was STAVROS the host! He was AMAZING! Left us treats, helped us multiple times with recommendations, and even brought us freshly pressed oil! We definitely hope to be back!

Magnificent Manifesting! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. Outside area was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Lovely outside cooking and dining area which we used a lot and the sea is much closer than appears in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped and the local shops are an easy and beautiful walk to pick up any additional extras. Close to lovely restaurants and bars filled with friendly people and staff. Luz is a wonderful location to explore the Algarve however a week is not enough as there is much to see and do 😉. Just a note that the access to the pool area would not be conducive to someone with mobility issues but is beautiful. Something that everyone really appreciated was the very positive water pressure 😂 seems like a small thing however weirdly it matters. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this villa to friends and family. Ideally located, with charm and character in a beautiful location, sea breezes and with a fab host 🙏

It was an all-around great stay at the beach house on Playa del Hombre. Hosts Adrian and Gloria are very committed. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need. There were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, spices and oil, toilet paper, towels, etc. The all-round carefree package. The living area is spacious. From the rooms there are sea views everywhere and you sit wonderfully on the terrace also with sea views and sunrise in the morning (unfortunately we almost always had clouds in the morning). The only downside is that you need a car, as both the grocery store and all restaurants for dinner are 20-30 minutes away. There is a surf school right on the beach (high voltage adventure) and in Los Melones an open-air functional training area, where you can take part in a good group training (Ultimate Entrenamiento) - both highly recommended if you want to be active in sports. We had a great stay at Maria's. The area is really great & you can do everything on foot, whether it's a leisurely stroll along the Goldenmile or a visit to the marina. The apartment is well equipped & has everything you need. There were 2 of us, but there would also be enough space for 4 people. We felt very comfortable. A parking place is also available. The entire complex is very well maintained and has everything you need. We will be happy to come back :)

You hardly want to say it, because it reduces the chances of coming back to this wonderful place, but as soon as we entered the house, it was clear to all of us. We are coming back here. Simply wonderful and tastefully great location. Great amenities, a six out of five

The place is in a great location, right by the sea in Ortigia. It was a good base to explore Ortigia (near the market, and in fact everywhere is close - supermarket, restaurants). Matteo was a very helpful and responsive host. When we had a request, he helped quickly. He also helped with local recommendations (a beach and a restaurant) which were very good. He gave very good instructions for a flexible check in. There are not really any windows (apart from right on to the street, therefore frosted unless you open the door) and no outside space, but the place was as described. Plenty of space for our family of four, two bathrooms, and comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights with my parents and my daughter and had a lovely time. The house is exactly like the photos and every bit of space has been used and thought out well. Light,bright and modern with a lovely view of the ocean and sunrise. There is a little swing you can attach to the double doors at the front which is a nice touch. For good restaurants you need to take a taxi but that was not a problem and normally cost around £10. Clare was a great host very helpful and responsive - you will have a lovely stay.

Debbie is a great host and her bungalow provides everything you could possibly need. It’s in a great location and is perfect for visiting the whole of the island. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

The flat is in a fantastic location—just 40 meters from the beach and within easy reach of the city center. The flat is beautifully designed with great taste and feels very cozy. Everything went smoothly during our stay, and Antonio was always quick to respond and helpful.

João's place is superb and unbeleivable. João welcomed us on site which was a great personal touch. He had fruits, snacks, drinks avialable for us on arrival. He took the time to explain to us all the specifics of his his place. João's place is the cleaniest we have seen by far in over 25+ luxury AirBnB reservations. Everything looked brand new from the appliances to the cutlery. The beds, sofas, chairs, outdoor furniture, etc, were all very comfortable. The hot tub is in a perfect location with views of the ocean and the coast and was - like everything else - the cleanest you have ever seen. The place is on top of a cliff, overlooking the beatiful beach of Olhos d'Agua with breathtaking views. The area is extremely safe and quiet, walkable distance to restaurants, small shops, etc. João's place has a direct access from the property to the trails of the coast which allow you to hike for kms on the coast depending on tide schedules. Overall a great place to experience the Algarves.

This place is stunning, villa gorgeous and spotless, with a very comfortable bed- the location is unbeatable- cross a pedestrianised road and you’re on a beautiful beach. Right beside a shopping centre with great shops and restaurants. Safe to walk day or night, along the Promenade which goes all the way to Puerto del Carmen. There is nothing negative I could say about this place and Juan Jesus was a great host, responsive and pleasant.
