There are also many marine shops nearby to enjoy the Blue Cave There are trendy cafes and restaurants within a 1-3 minute drive There is also a steak house, tavern, and convenience store about 10 minutes north by car. About 1 hour from Naha airport to the house Located in the middle of Okinawa, it has convenient access! The house has no stairs, so luggage is easy! Walking distance to Ryukyu Village! Easy access to Nago, Kitaya, Cape Zanpa, Zakimi Castle Ruins, Pottery Village, Murasaki Mura, Manza Beach, Cape Maeda, and Blue Grotto Access. the most magical stay ever! ‘one of a kind’ is not an exaggeration this time. the house had so many nice touches everywhere that it is difficult to pick a favourite corner. personally i really enjoyed the hifi system that came with some records and CDs from Tatsumi’s own collection. you can even listen to the music he / and his children created. the projector with the large screen also made for many cosy nights. the outdoor garden was also very peaceful as the setting is not as much as remote or in nature as i thought! but the many conveniences around made up for that.

When we arrived, we realized that we were lucky to come across a golden family, kind, generous and welcoming, a family that knows how to live and knows how to make others live. Of all the Airbnbs from all over the world we've done, this one wins the prize for the best and if we could give it one more ⭐️ star, it would be well deserved. We left with a heavy heart, sad to leave such a beautiful place and such beautiful people. We've found new Nakamas and we're pretty sure our paths will cross sooner or later. See you soon.

wonderful and friendly hosts with clear instructions on how to access the property, generous with their time and emotional energy. they sent extra photos showing how to park which was invaluable! they left a little gift basket of cookies to nibble on which my wife loved. they also recommended a yomitan cafe and it was fantastic. mimi would occasionally check in that we were having a good time and we always were! reminded me of staying with a nice aunt :) you cannot beat the location, as you walk down stairs and onto the sand of the beach. it feels more wild, quiet and lived in than a hyper-western and expensive resort, which was exactly what we wanted--a local beachy experience. go swimming at high tide within the reef and you will see lots of grazing parrotfish and butterflyfish--please be respectful to the local wildlife, the coral, and hakas! eddie and mimi have a bin of gear you are free to use, although i brought my own prescription goggles which let me see the fish even better.

It was really comfortable and spacious for a family of three to stay, the appliances provided in the kitchen were also well stocked (rice cooker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine), a minute's walk to the beautiful sandy beach next to it, the location is away from the well-known spots, it's all just right in terms of driving, the only downside is that the dogs next door (local residents) are more noisy.
