Welcome to Concombre Cottage, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. 1 dog allowed per stay, 2 dogs on request. Dogs must be kept on a lead in garden areas. Our spacious private two bedroom cottage renovated to a high spec in 2022 is ideal for a relaxing holiday yet only a 5 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities. Le Vieux Fournil still has the original bread oven opening into the living space in this wonderfully quirky building. The kitchen and bathroom are housed in the original woodstore and pig sty and the bedroom is converted in the hayloft. The house is 2 km’s from the historic town of Lassay-les-Châteaux with its fortified medieval chateau, winding streets and gardens.
