The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Grandparents' house - all included

The house, about 80 square meters, comfortably accommodates five guests. It has three bedrooms (one double, one twin, and one single), a living room/kitchen with a terrace overlooking the Stella Gulf, and a spacious bathroom. It is located about 900 m from the center of Capoliveri and the beaches of Madonna delle Grazie, Peducelli, Morcone, and Stecchi. It offers its guests free of charge: air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, bed linen and towels, hairdryer and parking space.

Villa Artemide, a newly built villa, is located in the municipality of Capoliveri, in the small, tranquil hamlet of Madonna Delle Grazie. Such a peaceful setting that in the 18th century, it was chosen as a refuge by Augustinian friars returning from the island of Montecristo. In recognition of the hospitality they received, they erected the sanctuary. Inside, there is a highly prized panel painting, the draft of which is said to have belonged to Michelangelo Buonarroti.

Porto Azzurro, the house, with beautiful view, has been renovated now in 2026. The house has good place for 4 persons. The beach, "Golfo della Mola", that is very close to our house, is perfect for who has a kayak or a small boat. To bath we recommend sand beaches that is 1-2 km away.
