Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madison

This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Great place to stay clean and close to the event we went to… they were helpful and allowed us to stay 1 hr longer for our convenience… there was only one TV in the house so if you have kids make sure they have their tablets or they will control the one TV other than that it was enough space for us…. Thanks

I was in the area because my father had a stroke. Mark was so incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my stay. His brother and mother both helped me tremendously during a very challenging time! What an incredibly kind, compassionate and caring family. The house was adorable very well stocked convenient location with a beautiful walk to the river! Highly recommend.

Ashley’s place was absolutely incredible for our girls weekend in Montauk. Impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished. The hot tub was perfect after a winter hike, and the firepit was great for s’mores and stargazing at night. There was also an indoor fireplace in the living room where we had a couple of really fun movie nights. The kitchen is a dream, and very well equipped with everything you would ever need to cook a fabulous meal. The spacious open plan kitchen/dining area/living room was perfect for communal cooking and hanging out. Gets great light and such a pretty view. The bedrooms were super comfortable and the master has an amazing tub. The location was perfect. Right in town and a short walk to the beach (also walking distance to the brewery!), but also felt very private. Lastly, Ashley was an excellent host- very communicative and helpful and super sweet- she even left a treat for us in the fridge when we arrived! Will definitely be coming back to stay at

Very nice house with lots of room to relax and a well-stocked kitchen to cook. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to so much! When we had a question, Ellen answered with a call within minutes. She was the perfect host!

Our family opted for a trip to New London to reconnect with our family for Thanksgiving. We were able to utilize the beautiful dining room for our dinner . We loved staying at Rosa’s place and were very comfortable . Just a note - there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor ( as are all the bedrooms) We made this work but can be difficult with a larger family . It would definitely not deter me from booking again! This place was beautiful. The surrounding area and ease of access was comforting ! Would definitely stay here again .

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful sunset comes right into the upstairs bedroom and balcony for views. Back deck is right on waters edge. It’s the perfect spot to get away from the noise. Kayaks for the lake were awesome. Definitely going to make this a permanent getaway! Thank you Josh for everything! See you soon!

Viviana is a great host and very helpful. The apartment is very clean and well-organized. The apartment is especially quiet, which allows for great sleeping. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!

Staying at Robert’s place was such a great experience. The property was beautiful, and the surrounding area was calm and scenic making it feel like a perfect getaway. Robert was super responsive and easy to talk to, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It was really nice meeting him in person—he even greeted us in Swedish and gave us a little tour of the place, which made us feel extra welcome. We look forward to come visit again to explore the area more!

Molly's place was GREAT--a total gem for the area. The vibe and layout of the space was sunny, peaceful, and super welcoming. Easily one of my favorite AirBnB's ever--we will definitely be back! The kitchen had everything we needed and the whole apartment felt spacious and roomy, yet cozy. The backyard area is gorgeous! Even though the house is right on main street, the sound isolation was great and we slept well every night we were there (the most comfortable bed EVER also helped). We miss this place already!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Renee’s place was a nice and cozy getaway from the city, and surprisingly fit 5 people + 2 cats very comfortably! She was also very quick to respond to any questions I had, we had a great time!

Clare was a fantastic host. She helped us with getting around which was super helpful because we didn’t have a car. Her food recommendations were great. All in all, she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere which made our stay in Montauk a beautiful experience. Thanks for everything!

We had a great stay! It was a very nice place in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Space was clean and well stocked. Host was very friendly and check in was a breeze. I wouldn’t recommend for a super light sleeper, as you do hear the footsteps and dogs barking from upstairs, but it didn’t bother us at all. 10/10 Will definitely consider this location again next time we have an event in Hartford! (oh and there was a super cute and friendly fat cat that would hang outside with us, love that guy)

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

We had a great time at Josh’s place. It’s such a beautiful spot and wonderful home. Josh was super helpful and responsive. He made it so easy. Would definitely come back and recommend!

This place was so peaceful and gorgeous! We stayed here during the A Weekend in the Life event and it was such an easy drive into town and to all the activities. The house itself had great amenities and things to do! During our stay, the heater did break, but our host was on top of it. The house has a pellet stove that kept it toasty, so she had 5 bags of pellets delivered to the house for us, she had someone come out and service the pellet stove and she had someone come out to service the heat all in one day! They were accommodating and helpful. We also had our dogs with us who has plenty of space and the airbnb didn’t smell like dog. You couldn’t tell it was a pet friendly place. We loved it!

Second time staying at this location. Very well equipped (has everything one needs for the stay -- all basic pots/pans and utensils, olive oil/salt/sugar, trash bags/kitchen towels and more). Great perk in booking with airbnb was that the price included bottled water, s'more kit, 3 packs of firewood and starter (which in total was about $50+ worth when purchasing at site). Clean cabin, spacious beds. Although all the cabins around were full, it was very quiet. We stayed at the two-bed cabin and it worked great with our two young kids. Overall, a very easy escape from the city!

We had a great time staying with Marina. The space was so clean and the perfect size for two adults and our senior pup. The outdoor space was beautifully landscaped and the beach was only a 5 minute walk. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Tucked away in the woods right on the lake, it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The cabin itself was adorable, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We only spoke to the host (Angela) briefly, but she was so kind and welcoming, and let us know she was available if we needed anything. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!
