Tonya’s place had everything we could have needed. The bed was comfy, the layout spacious —we felt right at home. The backyard was very peaceful and beautiful as well. I would definitely book again.

Overall, enjoyed our girls weekend at Casey's cabin. Location was only 20-30 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Asheville and the drive in is very easy. We saw a bear on the way in the second night and saw a ton of birds around the cabin. Furnishings were lovely, beds very comfy. Lovely waterfall within 10' of the backdoor, I sat in the outdoor tub every night listening to the waterfall. Please be aware that you'll also hear the dogs that live with the neighbors and they'll likely be barking most all night. Thankfully you can't hear them very well inside the cabin and I understand this is something that host can't control but the very close proximity to 4 different neighboring properties makes it somewhat hard to feel secluded or in the middle of the forest. Also, I typically started filling the tub after dinner and waited 75-90 minutes each night to fill the tub deep enough to soak in but I planned ahead and this did not bother me and the water was as hot as any hot tub.

We have family in Mars Hill and have stayed in that community several times. But, we also really like Weaverville and wanted to give it a try. We couldn’t have chosen a better home for our trip. The house was gorgeous and very comfortable - with everything we needed, plus more. The neighbors were out walking every day, and I hope we are able to walk to town on our next trip. (We didn’t have the time on this visit.) Weaverville has so many good restaurants and breweries. The beds in the home were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, thanks to Kelly and Joe. Our daughter wasn’t able to come as we had hoped, but there was plenty of room if she had. Kelly and Joe were SO responsive - even when I messaged with a silly question. My husband and I look forward to staying in this beautiful home again very soon!

This was the best experience! When my gps was acting up the host responded right away with great directions. The house was beautiful and if you forgot anything, it was provided down to the toiletries. Everything was clean and well cared for. I would highly recommend Hidden Gem to anyone visiting the Asheville area!

We travel several times a year and are frequent airbnb guests—so the bar is high. This property is definitely one of our favorite rentals and we look forward to a return visit. We enjoyed the peaceful seclusion back in the woods and the soothing contemporary minimalist decor and the expansive kitchen. We roasted marshmallows over the firepit as we watched the sunset. Best of all, our two elderly small dogs were welcome at this property. Downtown Asheville is a mere 20 minute drive away. Weaverville is even closer for groceries and takeout

This was a beautiful place to stay, in a very secluded location with stunning views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. The host was extremely responsive, even answering the phone late at night when we arrived and needed assistance. You will 100% need 4WD/AWD to make it to the property, but the hosts have a vehicle you can use. It is a bit of a haul to get back to “civilization” for things like groceries and restaurants, but if you’re looking for a place to show down and feel like the only people for miles like us, book your stay here!

Wow! What a beautiful home and property! We spent the weekend catching up with friends, cooking delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. It was the most “homey” of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! I was especially impressed by how clean everything was and how thoughtfully stocked the space was. From the variety of kitchen supplies to a pour-over coffee setup, and even extra towels for the hot tub, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Holly was hands-down the most proactive and responsive host I’ve ever encountered, making the experience seamless from booking to checkout. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I’m already dreaming about when we’ll return. Thank you, Holly, for sharing such a beautiful home and experience!

This is a second visit. Just as before, everything was neat, clean, and very convenient to our son's home. Ed very kindly allowed our grandchildren to visit. My husband and I felt right at home. Ed is very responsive and visits seem comfortable and easy. We appreciated the snacks left for us and the convenient amenities. We are comforted in knowing there is a lovely place to stay close to our NC family.

This was our 3rd stay and has become our go to spot when need a place in Marshall area as our home is being built. Everything is new and the apt is well appointed. Great location away from the city. Have no reservation recommending it.

We absolutely loved our stay!! From the spa like bathroom, to the beautiful surrounding Mountain View’s to the starry nights, everything was just perfect and beautiful! Jack and Irina were so sweet and helpful. We arrived to a sweet note, snack and fresh flowers. Their place was so comfortable and inviting! It had everything we needed. Close to Asheville but in a rural area. Couldn't be better.

I booked my stay pretty late in the evening. The host was responsive and got me in right away. I really enjoyed my time here and I hope to return soon.

We stayed here for my daughters, acrobatics and tumbling meet at Mars Hill University . We loved this little home away from home. It was cozy and so comfortable and very close to the campus. Candace was extremely responsive and very flexible with us with our checkout times I would absolutely stay here again.

Luciene's place was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, convenient, just as advertised. The location is beautiful and quiet. It's just minutes from Weaverville and Asheville. Luciene responded to questions within minutes. We were very happy with our stay.

Our stay at Stephanie’s place, Bear’s Den, was wonderful!! It was beautiful, very clean, and so peaceful. Being in a gated community gave us that extra sense of security. Stephanie was a great host and there were many nice extras. A lint roller, walking sticks, and a picnic basket to name a few. The bed was comfortable and we felt at home in the cozy space. Extra blankets, an easy to use fireplace, and provided coffee were so nice on the chilly mornings. We enjoyed the views of the sunrise and the colors of the evening skies during our stay. It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

That view sure doesn't disappoint! The location was outstanding and the condo a perfect spot for a ski vacation at Hatley Pointe. I recommend visiting the resort or at least eat at Smoke & Timber. Sabrina was super responsive to all the messages to troubleshoot issues with appliances and what not. Love how they remodeled the condo. I actually kinda wished it was on the 2nd floor as the upstairs folks were pretty noisy coming in and out. Sounded as if they walked in wearing their ski boots, but was quiet other than that. So many deer in the neighborhood wearing their cute, fuzzy winter coats but easy to get in and out from the interstate. Will definitely return for family get-togethers in the area as the Appalachian trail is one of my bucket list items. What a great area.

Very nice getaway for a last minute family outing. The place and home is great . Although would recommend getting enough supplies and food ahead of time since no place to eat close by or convenient. Overall went snow tubing and skiing and was just a fun holiday for our family and our visitors .

Daniel and his wife were very helpful during our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing! We enjoyed a hike to Big Bald and a meal at Timber and Smoke. This is definitely a new favorite!

Daniel was great from the start. The condo was clean, convenient to our hike on the AT for 2 days, quiet, and beautiful. We saw deer both days from the deck, experienced an epic sunrise while sipping our coffee in our pjs by the cozy fire, and Daniel was a quick text away if we had a question about anything. The king size bed was comfortable, as were the pillows, and he had several fuzzy-soft throw blankets by the bed and sofa, which made for a homey feel. We can't say enough good things about our experience there or with Daniel. Happy trails!
