This place was fantastic! We stayed here with our 4 daughters. They loved feeding and talking to Hershey the donkey every day. The home was clean and SO WELL SUPPLIED! We have stayed in so many AirBnBs where we had to rewash the silverware for every meal--not here! There were cooking utensils and silverware and plates and cups and bowls galore as well as tinfoil and parchment (so helpful for leftovers and baking). The owner also quickly supplied firewood when she realized it had been overlooked. We loved sitting in the front room playing games, reading, doing puzzles and enjoying the woodstove. The home is at the end of a mountain road and we hiked on the mountain and took walks up and down the road. The only constructive criticism I would have is that the key instructions are confusing. I would just say, there is no key, just a keypad with a code to get in and out. Thank you again for lovely quiet place for us to get away and celebrate New Years!

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Stone Cottage in Hot Springs, NC, while bringing books to the community as the 21st Century Packhorse Librarians. The cottage was immaculately clean, charming inside and out, and in a perfect walkable location to downtown. The spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds made for a restful stay, and the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind. The trout fishing in the river right out front was incredible—our son caught a dozen trout! We also loved dining at the Smoky Mountain Diner and exploring all the town has to offer. If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway with great amenities and easy access to everything, we highly recommend the Little Stone Cottage!

absolutely amazing place we loved the house and the yard. the hot tub was very clean the pond across the road was frozen over the kids enjoyed walking on the ice. we will definitely stay again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Andrew & Rain’s place. Our favorite parts were the relaxing view of the surrounding mountains from the porch, the hot tub, sauna, and other amenities within the house. They also communicated quickly to any question we had. Thank you for allowing us to stay there!

This was a perfect place for myself, husband, and our dog for a month get away. We also had two friends that visited for a few days and it was comfortable for all of us. Very clean, everything worked well, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and two wonderful porches. We were blessed with good weather so we sat on the downstair’s patio in the mornings to enjoy the sun and birds and on the large upstair’s porch in the afternoons. Close to town, three grocery stores, an excellent bakery and lots of good restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more! Close enough to easily visit Asheville, The Biltmore and the bordering cute small towns. John and Patricia were excellent hosts, we only had to contact them once for a minor problem with the TV, no fault of theirs. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Weaverville or Asheville.

Groovy, clean little cottage on a creek. We adored the decor, full kitchen, and relaxing on the back porch! Hosts were communicative and friendly and ensured a no stress stay. Would absolutely stay again 🌸

This home was in a perfect location for the needs of my dog and I during this trip. It is off the main road, but the noise was not bothersome at all. All you hear is cars driving by, but you do not hear horns blowing all day or anything hectic that like. Yes there is a gas station across the street, but it's a life saver for when you need water or other items during your stay. The gas station does add light to the street which is a huge plus at night. -The home's size was great. It still has the older house charm like the original door, doorknobs, archway. -Vinyl or tile flooring: easy to clean -LOVE the heaters in each room. As a Floridan I get cold fast and these heaters were life changing. Each room has it's own temperature control knob. -Kitchen was equipped with plates, coffee machine, coffee, microwave, etc as listed on the website. Some of the pots and pans have difficulties, that would be my main feedback. -LOVE the creek in backyard. I slept well at night here.

I highly recommend Renata's farm house, situated on six plus areas of beautiful land, if you want to experience a slice of paradise on the Ivy River. I stayed three weeks while searching for a house to buy. The 1915 farmhouse is compact, space is used efficiently and decorated for comfort. I saw turkeys on the river and an osprey fishing for supper. The location was perfect. I popped into Mars Hill for produce at TJ's market, coffee at Camden's or a sweet or bread at High Ridge Bakery. Easy peasy to drive to Weaverville and Asheville. I also highly recommend taking advantage of Renata's offer to prepare a meal for you. She's a personal chef and the shrimp tacos were beyond expectations. She brings everything to you. It was a delightful taste experience. Renata lives on the hill above the farmhouse and is readily available if you have questions. She makes the experience real, as if you're company or family there for a visit. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

The cottage was everything I could have wanted for a peaceful trip to reset after the holidays. It was cozy, whimsically decorated, and had lots of great poetry available to read. The features I used the most were the tub and the electric tea kettle. The sound of water from the stream in the front of the home was so soothing to listen to. It was also very easy to get groceries at the Ingles up the road and cook all of my meals in the kitchen. The home had everything I needed for a calm, easy getaway. The homemade blackberry jam was to die for - I actually went out and bought more croissants not once, but twice to eat it all! I loved every little detail, and can't wait to return :)

This was our second stay at this absolute gem of a cabin. It is walkable to hiking trails and town, has a beautiful deck overlooking a stream that you can also see and hear from the cozy couch. Throw in the comfy bed, grill and well appointed kitchen, and you have heaven in Hot Springs. We hope to stay there again!

The cottage was clean, matched the description and pet friendly. We liked that it was walkable to downtown. The town is still recovering from hurricane damage so eating places and businesses are limited but the brewery was open with great beers. Overall we had an enjoyable, relaxing stay.

Brian was incredibly responsive to our inquiries. He even left a light on for us when we advised we’d be checking in after dark. Our adventurous pups loved the long driveway, because it allowed them to “explore” the woods without having to worry about the critters that typically come with an off-trail hike. The cottage was just as described and in a great location - central to the parkway, Weaverville and just a short drive from Asheville. The next time we head down to the area, we hope to stay here again!

An absolutely perfect home and location for a restorative experience. Within walking distance of Hot Springs Resort & Spa, restaurants, breweries, gift shops, hiking trails. Having Spring Creek in the back yard is such an added bonus! Incredible cottage🌸

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this little hideaway in the woods. We were so lucky to find this place after another host had to cancel our reservation just 2 days before our trip. The cabin is positioned at the end of a short street, right by a beautiful walking trail along a creek, which was great for my pup. The space was clean, organized, and well stocked with towels and linens. We especially enjoyed the cozy king bed and the hot tub. The location was very close to some of the local attractions and just a short drive to downtown Ashville. Jay provided detailed information on checking in and out, and even let us check-in a little early. We'd definitely consider staying here again on future trips.

Absolutely adorable place! Gorgeous in the spring. We had a great time and Jayne was super nice and communicative!

We visit Asheville often and try to stay at Bright Cozy Cottage when it's available. Private, clean, modern, and a nice view out the front window. Mild street traffic mainly during weekday rush hour, but that is not an issue for us, although some reviewers note that as an issue for them. Really a great place to stay, and unmatchable in the Asheville area!

This cottage provided a wonderful weekend getaway. It is cozy with all that you would need. They were great with their instructions and the location was very quiet. It is walkable to many of our favorite eating spots. It was a great find for the 2 of us, and we look forward to going back!
