House vacation rentals in Madalena

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

Great view, modern and well equipped house. Each bedroom has an own bathroom which is great + everything looks like in the pictures. The host was very flexible with the check-in and there were some welcome snacks and water upon arrival. We would come back :)

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

This vacation home was exactly as described. It was clean, organized and comfortable, with additional amenities to enjoy your stay. The hosts went above board providing delicious food, coffee and water when you first arrive. An addition, there’s a pool, sauna and beautiful grounds to explore. It was one of my all time favorite Airbnb’s. Beautiful hosts, lovely accommodations, and incredible location.

I highly recommend staying at Bruno's. He is an excellent host. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Bruno's was very helpful.

We really enjoyed the house and the large garden including outdoor kitchen and pool. We greatly appreciated the quiet location and the very good kitchen facilities. Everything was as described and communication worked well. All good thank you so much!

HANDS DOWN our group of fours' FAVORITE place we have EVER stayed with the most gracious host we have ever encountered. The doors were not only functional, they allowed every part of the house to connect with the outdoors and the ocean. We had several nights in cooking in the kitchen (which had everything needed) because we had a better view than the amazing restaurants that Nicolau had PERSONALLY showed us in a quick town tour after checking us in. He also connected with the restaurant owners to advise who was open and the fresh catch of the day. We all slept so soundly to the sound of the ocean. I felt like I already knew Nicolau the moment he met us as he had provided so much information even before we arrived in Pico. We literally are planning the next time we can return and we cannot do Pico without Nicolau and this special place.

Cleide was very sweet and welcoming. The house was very cool. The heated pool is very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect. We felt very comfortable, also with the style. The location was great, very central, which of course means it's in the city and the city makes noise. There was a beautiful quiet private courtyard where you could eat and relax. The bed was excellent and the floor with the tilting window was very cozy. As a small tip, several cats roam the rooftops, who also find the window very interesting 😉 Kitchen has everything you need, is very modern and the bathroom is perfect. We have been to the Azores a few times and this studio is one of the best. We will be happy to come back!

What a lovely place! Beautiful and clean house in the prettiest environment. If you just wanna lay back for a while, this is the perfect place.

Excellent hospitality from Fatima. And the fig jam is delicious!!! She gave us a lot of tips for our daily life and our visits/activities. The house is in excellent condition with all the comforts you need. We had a nice stay in Pico and we recommend Fatima's accommodation on this island. Valerie and her 3 children.

Sonia’s house in Faja Ouvidor is just a little wonder! The house has everything you may need. I have stayed in many airbnb’s, but have never seen the place so clean. The location is perfect both for peaceful vacation and for exploring beautiful Sao Jorge. The view from the patio is to die for! I enjoyed many breakfasts and dinners there, even if the weather was not the best sometimes. I had a great wonderful relaxing time there and I would love to come back next time in summer season to enjoy this magical place again :)

Charming little house perfect for our family staying for a few days in Faial. Very clean accommodation with the amenities and equipment required to make our stay a pleasant one. We had a car which allowed us to access the different sites to visit or hikes to do (car required in our opinion). Perfect location to be in the front row at sunset on the sea. We would definitely return to Ana's.

We spent some very nice days in Zilda's wonderful big house. The location is fantastic with a wide view over the sea. On the large terrace you have sun all day. The house is very tastefully decorated and very clean, in the kitchen everything you need was available. In the area there are many very beautiful landscapes and a very nice beach for swimming, the most beautiful on the island, as we find, the Praia da Faja. Having a car is, however, a prerequisite. In summary, Zilda's house is highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at George's. It's in a wonderful location, steps from beautiful Porto Pim on one side, and central Horta on the other. We loved sitting on the rooftop patio as the sun set spectacularly, with a view of both the beach and the city. Highly recommended! George was very responsive and his manager Filipa was super friendly when we asked if we could drop off our luggage early as we had arrived a few hours before check-in time. We ended up being let in early, which made such a huge difference to our overall experience. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer than we did, obrigado George & Filipa!

Paula's Azorean Home was a fantastic accomodation option for my family of three. We have a 1 year old, and suitable accomodation options aren't always easy to find, but Paula's home was perfectly set up for our needs and we felt at home in this most scenic and tranquil location almost Immediately. Paula left us fresh fruit, bread, butter, cheese, olive oil, baby foods and snacks, meaning we didn't need to run to the store nor bring anything with us. The table was set including a highchair, baby utensils and plates, their was a basket of toys and books for our child and a crib was set up in the second room. In every room, Paula has thought about what guests need to feel at home. Thank you for hosting us Paula, we hope to return again one day soon.

The place is really beautiful and you felt right at home. 😍 You are right on the sea. However, this accommodation is not recommended without a rental car, as it is just under 25 minutes' drive from Madalena and thus from shopping and restaurants. However, if you love peace and quiet like we do, this is the right place. At night, however, the peace is less, as Azorean ducks keep you awake in search of a nest. 😅 All in all, still recommended. 🙃

We were very warmly welcomed personally by Isabel. There is everything you need for your stay. Isabel anticipates every wish. Parking on the protected property directly in front of the accommodation. There is a very well-stocked supermarket 2 minutes away by car. The accommodation is located just above the city center of Horta and offers a fantastic view. Every point of the island can be reached from there in a maximum of 35 minutes. This was a great place to stay and a great new acquaintance.

Breathtaking views from the terrace and living room. Top equipped kitchen with numerous ingredients for cooking. Very large and cozy living room. Compared to the rest of the apartment, the bathroom is a bit outdated. Marianna was a very nice hostess.

Michal is very responsive and gentle. The place is beautiful and SUPER clean and modern. We LOVED the place and the view WOW!

Gina was a lovely host. She was extremely communicative and responded quickly to texts. She was also very understanding when a chair was broken, and was more concerned that I didn’t get hurt than that the chair was broken! The goodies left for us were welcome, and it was nice to have the option, in addition, to buy some drinks in the mini fridge. Gina’s place was spotless and easy to find as the photos helped (Google maps has it further down the hill but keep driving up and you can’t miss it!). The bed was comfy, the view amazing, and the kitchen stocked with basic items. The local Continente was very well stocked for food and other items. Easy to pick up everything you need. Thank you Gina! We loved all the little whale items you had in your cottage, especially as we have learned about the importance of the whaling industry in the past to Azores.

Lovely house in a beautiful garden. Everything you could need. Would recommend a car but I would say that is almost essential on Pico. Near a supermarket, WiFi very good. Barbecue outside. Unfortunately we didn’t get BBQ weather but it’s the beautiful Azores

We had a pleasant, quiet stay at Miguel's house, with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the ocean. Miguel is very responsive and accommodating!
